My BP Revolver conical lineup, 9x19 for comparison. L-R: Dragoon, Lemat, J&D, Kerr all .44s, Richmond, Colt both .36, Baby Dragoon .31. If you still shoot roundball, come to the conical side. Itβs nice here! Better MV and energy.

Colt 3rd Model Dragoon, reproduction by Colt (3rd Gen.) .44 caliber. IMO the finest of Colts large C&B revolvers. This one makes a joyful noise with EGB Dragoon bullets cast by me, and 38gr of 3f Swiss. It chrono'd at 857fps avg, which gives 424 ft-lbs of energy. Proper firepower!

I've either found the holy grail of colts or it could be a replica. Matching serial numbers. I've decided not to post that picture. I will say there are 3 matching serial numbers in the 160000's. Tell me more please! Thx! It looks like a "Colt Dragoon percussion revolver".

Just a reminder that Red Dead Revolver had the Colt Navy, 1860 Army, Dragoon, Double Action and SAA
This isn't a dig at RDR2 but I do think they need to pay more homage to the real old west and get rid of these shitty automatic pistols.
Shame about the concept art with Bill Williamson showing the 1860 Army, I guess it was too good to be true.

Dragoons or Revolvers?
I finally killed the lionfish and was able to get to the summer isle and bought dual dragoons. When I took a screenshot to brag to one of my friends, he said that dragoons are ass and slow as shit. Iβm pretty sure that dragoon damage outweighs this but he still keeps advocating for revolvers so I wanted to ask if there was a valuable difference or if this was just legion vs naevan fist combat.
I have wind and plenty of mobility skills btw

How much would you pay for a Colt Dragoon?
I've just seen what looks to be an original Colt dragoon in an antique militaria shop (Not sure if it's 1st 2nd or 3rd model) but without a price tag. What sort of price range do these normally sell at? I'm famliar with colt navies but less sure with dragoons.
It was in fair condition for a 150+ year old gun but had a significant chunk of wood taken out of the grip.

I roleplay my weapons, horses, and equipment. Normally I don't share, but my character stripped the finish from his Colt Dragoon and the gunk ended up filling in the engraving, kind of digging the look though.

If you've been following along, I RP my gear and these guns have gone from blackened to raw steel from barrel replacement, to fully stripped of finish and now, fully restored to when a brace of them were awarded for gallantry in 1865. They're Colt Dragoons upgraded to "Navy" components.

Colts Dragoon bullet mold
https://www.erasgonebullets.com/store/product/-44-colt-dragoon#!
Does anyone know where I can buy this mold? I asked the man that owns this site if he will get any in stock, and he's not sure when. The shortage of everything worsens. I want to make conicals for my Dragoon, and cannot find any kind at all. I can find 454 round ball molds, which I have no use for since 454 balls are easy to come by.

It's 1835. New York has a population of 220,000 people. Samuel colt just invented the first revolver. Lawn mowers and sewing machines are the top gadgets and your house isn't insulated. This handsome chap pulls up next to you with his horse and buggy asking for a date. Be honest?? Do you accept?
