A list of puns related to "Collingwood, Victoria"
The last time the Pies had a home game vs Sydney was in R9 2013, more than 7 years ago. They have one 'home' game vs Sydney in Round 10 but its in Brisbane
Both teams will take 6-1 win-loss records into the game, with the Tigers on top of the ladder on percentage.

The next generation of AFL stars are being built in the garage of a Canning Vale home.
Working out of his parentsβ property, personal trainer Gerard Majda is behind the transformation of some of WAβs biggest names: from Fremantle best and fairest Sean Darcy to Melbourne premiership young gun Luke Jackson.
It all started when friend and former Docker Brandon Matera brought along a young Darcy to one of the trainerβs sessions.
In three years, that number has swelled to almost 20 footballers.
βSean came about three years ago with Brandon, so I started with those two and when Sean started doing really well, looking really good, playing well and training well, some of the other boys wanted to get on the same stuff,β Majda, who is known as Body Majic, said. βIβve got a few more each off-season.
βIβve had Luke Jackson from Melbourne, a whole bunch of the Freo guys, Trey Ruscoe from Collingwood, Jake Pasini, Shannon Neale, Denver Grainger-Barras.
βJust being able to train that type of athlete, itβs just so much fun because you can throw all sorts of stuff at them. Some really hardcore sessions and they get through it. βItβs also very rewarding when you see the effort theyβre putting in when it comes to them playing. You feel part of it with them.β
Darcy is Majdaβs biggest success story.
Majda helped the 203cm, 110kg Darcy improve his skin folds and add the muscle which transformed him into one of the gameβs most formidable ruckmen.
βEvery time Sean comes in for a session, he just trains so hard, he does not want to be beaten,β Majda said.
βHe doesnβt just do my stuff, he does all sorts of other stuff. He does pilates, he makes sure his food is absolutely spot on. Heβs doing all the little aspects that you need to do as well as the playing football part as well.
βEven when he started, he was an impressive athlete all round. Even when he was maybe a little too heavy for what you thought a regular football player may be, he could still bang out chin-ups, he could run, he was doing the bike and he was performing really well. You were thinking wow itβs amazing that someone that size can do all that stuff.
βBut now heβs dropped all the weight heβs dropped and got so much more lean muscle on him, you can see it even more. βNow heβs carrying less weight around he can run quicker, heβs even faster, he can jump higher. It was always ther

Used the Atlas of Living Australia to get lists of species observations around clubβs βhomeβ area. For the Melbourne based clubs this was a 1km radius around their traditional home ground (Princes Park, Victoria Park, Windy Hill, Glenferrie, MCG, Arden Street, Punt Road, Moorabin, Whitten Oval), For the two Adelaide clubs it was a 1km radius around Football Park and Alberton (due to how close together they are). The others I used 10km radii, using Veterans Parade in Cockburn for Freo and Mineral Resources Park for West Coast, the others just using their AFL home grounds.
Once I had the list I looked at what were the most commonly observed species in that area, and how much more frequently it was found in that area compared to around the other grounds. That gave me a bit of a shortlist and I tried to pick the most appropriate sounding mascot based on that.
Some of the clubs were a lot more challenging than others, particularly the ones in built up areas without large parkland around them (Port, North, Footscray the main culprits).
Notes
Adelaide β Grey-headed Flying-fox | Pteropus poliocephalus
The blue-ringed octopus was a worthy contender, but I mostly didnβt want to get into a fight about what the correct plural is.
Brisbane β Torresian Crow | Corvus orru
Second most recorded species around the Gabba, and far more common there than other grounds (Average rank across all grounds was 180th most common). I have my suspicions this is because people elsewhere don't bother recording crows, but this is the data I've got. Shout outs to the Spangled Drongo or the Wild Turkey as good alternates.
Carlton Dragons - Water Dragon | Intellagama lesueurii
Carltonβs results get thrown off by proximity to the zoo and people recording sightings there, but I decided to go with it. Another option was the Carlton Penguins.
Collingwood Eels - shortfin eel | Anguilla australis

Pie Hard podcast spoke with Josh Fraser about the pressures of being a high draft pick at Collingwood, his first impressions of Victoria Park, those lost grand finals and his recent return to the Pies as a coach.
Ep. 32 β The Second Coming of Josh Fraser
https://anchor.fm/piehard/episodes/The-Second-Coming-of-Josh-Fraser-Pie-Hard-032-e1c027g
The loyalty of AFL club members was tested again this year.
In another Covid-hit season, the weekend pastime of going to the football was again taken away from many fans as crowds were banned and games β and finals β were shifted interstate.
Now clubs are looking for ways to thank their members for their loyalty again this year and encourage them to get back on board for 2022.
Price freezes or discounts, package upgrades and special member events are among the rewards on offer.
ADELAIDE
β The Crows have frozen prices for members who pledged 100 per cent in 2021.
Adelaide will also have a rewards scheme offering vouchers for new and expanded range of merchandise.
β The Crows are also offering bespoke AFLW membership providing match and non-match access.
BRISBANE LIONS
β The Lions have offered all of their Victorian-based game-access members that stuck with the club a 40 per cent discount on their memberships to make up for the games not played in Victorian in 2021.
β Queensland-based members were offered a 10 per cent discount on their 2022 memberships if they renewed before December 3.
CARLTON
β Carlton has frozen prices on all membership packages for the fourth consecutive year.
β The clubβs βmember choice rangeβ has been increased to more than 20 items with members given the chance to build their own pack.
β Carlton is also planning to introduce new game-day activations to help welcome the Bluesβ faithful back to the football next year.
COLLINGWOOD
β The Magpies have issued a price freeze on all 2022 memberships
β A partial refund was offered to access members this year as a portion of the season was missed.
β Membership packs have increased values and offerings.
β The Magpies will also offer β100 per cent Australian woollen scarfs to Legends members at no extra cost.
FREMANTLE
β The Dockers have frozen prices across all memberships again for 2022.
β There is a price reduction for Melbourne members of $15 per adult, down to $125.
β The Melbourne Members function will return at a game played at Marvel Stadium or the MCG in 2022.
β A change in the Dockerβs interstate membership offering will provide greater flexibility in what game the clubβs interstate-based members attend. This will no longer be restricted to the state of residence.
β Fremantle has launched new general admission memberships for Perth Stadium, giving members greater flexibility in where they sit and what games they attend in 2022. Members will also be ab

#THE GOOD
Fremantle have been blessed with a golden opportunity to get wins on the board early and cement their top-eight push in the first ten rounds.
The Dockers only face three 2021 finalists in the opening ten rounds β Greater Western Sydney at home in round four, Essendon away in round five and Geelong at GMHBA Stadium in round seven.
Scroll down for the full Dockers fixture
Four of their remaining seven matches against non-finalists include facing all of 2021βs bottom four sides in Adelaide, Gold Coast, Collingwood in round 10 for Sir Doug Nicholls Round and North Melbourne.
The Saturday night Carlton clash will be played as the Len Hall Tribute Game ahead of Anzac Day on the Monday and will also mark the first time the pair clash since Adam Cerra joined the Blues
Six of Fremantleβs opening 10 matches will also be played at the comforts of Optus Stadium, including the round three βawayβ derby against West Coast.
Fremantle and Rory Lobb will also be given an early opportunity to clear the air when they host Greater Western Sydney in round four.
Lobb infamously attempted a botched trade to his former club in the off-season but has been given little time to let the memory fade.
Seven of Fremantleβs away games will fall in Victoria, giving Melbourne-based Freo fans the chance to lap up some action.
Fremantle have also been handed rare back-to-back home games at Optus Stadium against Brisbane and Hawthorn in rounds 12 and 13 before they receive a well-earned rest with a round 14 bye.
#THE BAD
Fremantle have not featured on Friday night football since 2016 and have constantly requested a return to prime time.
The GREAT news is theyβve been gifted it in round eight against reigning wooden-spooners North Melbourne.
But the bad news is theyβll have to share the time slot with a tantalizing and overlapping Port Adelaide v Western Bulldogs preliminary final rematch on the same night.
The least the AFL couldβve done was give the Dockers some clean air for their Friday prime time slot in five years.
Rubbing salt into the wound, Fremantle have only be gifted one game at the MCG this season, against reigning premiers Melbourne in round 11.
The Dockers will have to face the Demons twice next season and also face dicey double-ups against West Coast, St Kilda, Greater Western Sydney and Carlton

Hello and welcome all to the 2021 AFL Draft Guide, provided entirely by /u/PM_ME_YOUR_BANGERS (absolute melon fwiw). As trade period wraps up and everyone turns into draft experts for a month and a half, I'm here to help you get the leg up on your mates/ family/ colleagues/ supporter forums when it comes to draft discussion.
(quick FAQ)
What makes PM_ME_YOUR_BANGERS qualified
Not much, but what makes any of us qualified!
What's next years draft like
Next years draft is ALWAYS better, remember that, and if you feel someone has the upper hand in a draft discussion this is your 'get out of jail free' card, simply respond with "Ah well, I'm not all that invested this year, next years draft looks much better"
What are the topics that I need to weigh in on
The main topic this year is of course Jason Horne-Francis vs Nick Daicos, both being exemplary players and stand outs of the draft, but one has to be better! Nick is a Collingwood Father-son prospect which is why this debate is so important, are the Kangaroos really getting the best kid in the draft with their wooden spoon? That's for you to weigh in on, if you are PRO Jason Horne-Francis, your main points are;
Playing against men all year, debuted at 17 in the SANFL league
Stronger contested game
If you are PRO Nick Daicos, your main points are;
Accumulates over 30 disposals in pretty much every game he's played, averaging 2 goals a game as a midfielder
Was better against Geelong VFL than Jason Horne-Francis
Anything else worth noting
NGA prospects can't have their bids matched inside the top 20 picks, however Northern Academy prospects such as GWS's Josh Fahey CAN, this is a common mistake and if you mention it you will have the upper hand in draft discussions. To go with this, Metropolitan based NGA prospects from SA or WA can't be matched within the top 40, so Fremantle's Jesse Motlop falls into this category, another upper hand fact.
Remember when in Draft Discussions, if someone counters your point on a particular player or says they prefer another, with the lack of National Championships these past two years, another 'get out of jail free' card to pull out is 'Yeah but after the first few picks everything's pretty blurry', this is a royal flush, no one can counter this as you can respond 'how can you be sure of anything without a full championships?'
The Players
A key part of any draft is the players, below is the draft combine invitee list

First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.
https://thewest.com.au/sport/afl-2021-the-players-who-could-find-new-homes-in-the-delisted-free-agency-period-c-4408596
The delisted free agency period has begun andΒ Jarrod Brander is the first player to find a new home.
The former Eagles utility had already been promised a spot on the Giants list and the official paperwork was lodged with the AFL on the opening morning.
So who else will get a second, third, fourth, or even fifth chance.
After the culling at clubs that has taken place those who have now found themselves cut can try and get an AFL lifeline.
Starting today this yearβs delisted free agency period will run across two windows and a total of 12 days.
The first goes from Wednesday to Tuesday and after a list lodgement day on November 10 a second window for delisted free agents will run from November 11 to 15. For those that miss out in these windows, thereβs still a chance to find a new home in the rookie draft on November 26.
Here are some of the players who might find new homes over the next fortnight.
#Charlie Constable
The unwillingness by Geelong to give Constable a sustained run in the side, and then for the Cats to delist him, has surprised many.
The 22-year-old midfielder has dominated in the VFL and averaged 18.5 disposals in 12 appearances for the Cats at AFL level. Geelong has said it will consider redrafting him as a rookie if Constable canβt find a new club as a delisted free agent. But surely Constable can find a new home and get the crack at AFL footy his form at the second-tier has warranted.
#Jay Lockhart
Another player the Giants could nab for free, the question is whether the Tasmanian will join as a delisted free agent or as a rookie. The small defender played 22 games across 2019 and 2020 but wasnβt able to crack the Demonsβ side in their flag winning year this season. Lockhart has shown that he can play a role at AFL level and it looks like he will get another chance to show this.
#Tyson Stengle
Geelong has offered Stengle a two-year deal after he was officially delisted by Adelaide last week. While his Crows career ended after three off-field indiscretions in less than a year, Stengle has shown that he can be a damaging small forward at AFL level. After playing with Woodville-West Torrens in the SANFL those who know Stengle have paid tribute to his ability to turn his career around and get another AFL chance.
