A list of puns related to "Coil Springs"
Hi,
Im a desperate hot sleeper trying to find a way to not be as hot during the night.
I have the "Silk & Snow" organic bed + i'm thinking of buying their acacia wood slats bed frame here .
My question is: Would such a wood slats bed frame noticeaby help a bit making me cooler at night VS a traditional coil-based boxspring? or no difference at all? It seems like a box spring (which im currently using) must be decent at ventilation/heat dissipation... but i'm hoping that wood slats bedframe can do noticeably better....can it?
(p.s. all metal slats solution seems to be zinus ones, with thin slats of too much distance between each others, so not even talking about those. Can't find one frame with thick slats that are closer to each others. If you know of any such model please link me up!
But in any case, still not sure if slats-based bedframes are cooler than traditional coil based boxsprings, whih i REALLY need to know!)
thanks so so much you have no idea!

As said above, on my 2014 forester with 81k miles, I just had the rear coil spring recall completed. Now my rear pass side strut is leaking badly. Just called the dealer, and with no hassle whatsoever they scheduled me for a complementary replacement, BUT they only want to replace the one leaking strut. I asked the lady, shouldn't they be replaced in pairs? and she said "oh no not unless its like a 20 year old car". However I have always heard that its a must to replace suspension parts in pairs. I asked my mechanic buddy and he said hell no replace them in pairs.
Should I fight this with the dealership? Or maybe offer to pay for the other strut? Or are they right that its fine to replace just the one rear strut?
Update: I just called the dealership back, and the woman I spoke to is escalating the case to her manager. I called several other local subaru dealerships, and asked "I have a leaking rear strut, is it possible to just replace that strut?", and of course they answered "oh no you have to replace them in pairs". So when I called back to my dealership, I had that ammo to use with them, the tone changed a bit when I mentioned that.
Hey guys Iβve been looking at past posts about whether to get lowering springs or coil overs, most of them seem to be based on tracking the car, but I donβt think Iβll be tracking my car at all. Just for a weekend drive maybe daily driving if my Nissan decides to die lol. I want something comfortable and I saw that the fortune coilovers are pretty decent and that I should stay away from Teins and other <1k coilovers. Was thinking about ohlins but that might be overkill lol. I donβt have any performance mods, I plan on keeping the car stock, just cosmetic mods if that helps. Just need a little more advice on whether or not to get springs/strut combo or just coilovers!
I'll be adding Bilstein 5100's all around and the front will be set at 2.5. I'd like it as close as possible to a leveled look. I won't be adding any extra weight to the rear so don't need any heavy load springs.
Looking to lower my 6th gen legacy if I were to do it what should info with. Springs seem to be the most popular option around where I live. But then thereβs coil overs which allow for a little more freedom with the choice of height you would ride at any advice is appreciated!!
Hi guys
To be specific, I'm looking for a coil spring of around 40-50mm diameter, and max 30mm-ish free length (the shorter the better). It only needs to compress a few millimetres. But I can't find springs this wide and short anywhere. Does anything like this exist, and if so what would it normally be used for?
I might end up going for a disc spring or wave spring, but I can only find those that are meant to be used as washers and might not be good for repeat compression/release, which I'll need it for. So coil would be best if possible... but I'm struggling to find anything close to the dimensions I need.
Thanks in advance for any ideas.
Hello guys,
My rear suspension has been replaced OEM a few months ago. But the front suspension need to be replaced on my 2018 Legacy 2.5i. Would you purchase these or go OEM, considering the high price at dealership?

I'm about to hit the submit button, but I'm wondering...
Thank you,
Hi all!
I have an older Citizen Ana-Digi Temp that was given to me from my dad.
I was changing the battery when I lost the coil spring. It's super small and I have no idea where it rolled/bounced off to.
I contacted Citizen US, but because it is a Japanese model, they deferred me to Citizen Japan support.
Citizen Japan told me that my watch was discontinued in 2009 and thus they have no parts for it.
I currently have it out at a watch repair shop, but they are uncertain if they have any spare parts lying around.
Long story short - Can anyone point me to a place where I can get a new spring for my watch?

Thank you so much!
So I just bought some BC racing coilovers for my Z (not the true rears) and I currently have swift spec r lowering springs on my car. Is it worth it to put the swift springs on the bc coils? or should I just sell them? On there website it says that they are an βupgradeβ so iβm not sure. Any pros and cons etc?
My orthodontist placed a spring coil on my braces and I noticed a white stain under where the coil are. I noticed it on my top teeth first but it went away but the stain on the bottom teeth has been persistent. I scraped it off and part of them came off while other part donβt. Is it something to be concerned about and what should I do?
I'm mounting the rally suspension but the coil spring dosn't go out to put the rally coil spring
