A list of puns related to "Clothier"
The place looks huge and the parking lot rarely has more than a car or 2 in it.
Wondering how they stay in business with such a large store.
Have any of you ever shopped there?
Adam Savage seems to have a genuine one but he did not mention where he got it or how someone could get a copy of it. Maybe he could do like he did for the bag and give out the specs for someone to actually build a few copies and sell them?
This is a womenβs boutique in Crestline. Their stuff is pretty expensive, so thatβs why Iβm asking for opinions.
There's a "Fine Clothier" claim on the Hawkers map. This can go there, or anywhere.
Hitton the clothier loved his work. Beyond love: he was obsessed with it, never marrying or paying heed to anything but making absolutely perfect (and extremely stylish) waistcoats and jackets, tunics and shirts. He had few customers, both because his prices were high and because he was a cranky obsessive. He didn't care. All he cared about was his craft.
Well... almost all. He also cared about his pet rats. Pretty much everyone in Duskvol hates rats. Not old Hitton! He befriended them, named them, shared his crumbs with them. So that was his life: obsessively perfect crafting of sturdy yet fashionable clothes, and rats.
And then burglars broke into his shop and beat him to death.
There are sound reasons for the Spirit Wardens to do what they do. But now and then, they get distracted or something. Occasionally they miss one. They missed old Hitton.
But the rats were there. And the rats were, as always, hungry.
Old Hitton's shop is still open, and you can go in there... if you dare. It's dark, but someone is in there. Someone who claims to be Old Hitton, though he won't allow light. If you do turn a light on, you'll see that he's hooded and masked.
Simply put: Hitton the tailor is now a mass of several hundred rats. The rats ate old Hitton's body, so now they are possessed by old Hitton's obsessive ghost. The rats can shape themselves into something vaguely approaching a human form -- they have Hitton's skeleton to work with -- but close examination will reveal what's going on. So, Hitton tries to deter close examination.
Here's a thing: he's still an excellent tailor. Maybe better than ever! Rat paws are capable of very fine work, you know. And while he's insane and obsessive, he's not /automatically/ hostile. You could work with him.
Of course, there are issues. He dislikes light of any sort. He hates cats and dogs, and also burglars and thieves. He's always hungry. He doesn't want to leave his tailor shop. He's envious of / intrigued by / angry about the work of rival tailors. And he doesn't respond well to threats.
Old Man Hitton could be an ally, an enemy, or just a weird NPC. Free use, enjoy.
They are bound rewards from the blackwood event. I already got endgame gear. I am on PS4 EU if that matters.
hello all! the holiday season is fast approaching, and ive been searching everywhere for a few gifts for the trans people in my life. ive found a bunch of transmasc indie clothiers, but im in sore need of transfemme fashion sellers. im specifically looking for US-based transfemme-run shops who resell vintage or curated clothes, upcycle/rework/diy OOAK or limited run pieces, or design and make their own clothes.
im open to literally any suggestion as i can always use the resources, and they dont even have to be in the US! (also, bonus points if there are any good places to find vintage statement pieces for a transfemme friend whos a self-described "70s lesbian" with absolute Goblin tastes)
ive posted this to fb with uhhh minimal success and plan to xpost in more places, so im also taking suggestions on that omg
thank yall again for your help, and good luck to everyone holiday shopping lmaooo
