His bench was highly anticipated, and he was aiming to break the Combine record of 49. He came well short with only 30. 30 is an adequate number for an OL, but certainly well under what was expected of Cleveland. I expected at least 40-45 reps. Teammates were saying he once did 50 when he was stopped. Azeez Ojulari weighed in at 249 at 6’2 and put up 28 reps. Good for him.

Edit : 4.85u for him in the 40. Knew he’d run well, but not this well.

Edit 2 : According to an observer, he started really fast and ran himself “out of gas”

Cleveland Is considered possibly the strongest prospect in this years draft, and all eyes will be on him on the Bench Press at Georgia’s pro day on March 17. The massive OL (6’6 345) confirmed in this article that he’s taking a shot at the Combine Bench Press record, which is 49 (technically 51) :

There's 6 of them, but I could only find 5 today: 2 at the entrance, Australia by the kangaroos, Outside the Primates and Aquatics house and inside the Wolf Lodge

I watch Wine with DeWine most afternoons. To me, the most important part is the reporter questions.

All the reporters identify themselves before their question, so I’ve come to recognize the names and voices (since they don’t show their faces). What I’m curious about is why Cleveland’s media appears to be so poorly represented?

Cleveland.com is there everyday, but none of the Cleveland TV stations have sent anyone. Dayton TV is there daily, as is Cincinnati and (obviously) Columbus. Even Mansfield and Lima TV turn up now and then. But, never Cleveland.

Surely there’s the distance, as an issue; but, in my experience with Ohio media outlets, Cleveland TV always considered themselves to be the only big league outlet in the state.

Why aren’t they there?
