#Welcome to the 2021 edition of the /r/soccer Christmas Quiz!
These quizzes were started during the initial COVID-19 lockdown, back in spring 2020. Although some semblance of normal life and football has returned, the /r/soccer quizzes have come out of retirement with a bumper edition to mark the festive season.
The quiz is in the format of an Imgur album, and contains three sections - football in 2021, a general knowledge round, and a picture round. There are a total of 100 points up for grabs!
There are no prizes - as there is no way for us to reliably verify scores - but please do share your score in this thread! Donβt cheat, of course - as youβre only really cheating yourselfβ¦
Previous feedback suggested that some of the questions were a bit challenging, so I have tried to design the quiz so that there is a mix of easier and more difficult questions in order to make it fun for all.
The quiz inevitably has something of an English Premier League bias (this is /r/soccer, after all). This is because my knowledge is predominantly of this league, but I have tried to mitigate this by consciously making it as varied as possible, so there is something for everyone!
If you spot any errors or corrections, please let me know in the thread below.

I'm going to a quiz with my girlfriend's work in a couple of weeks and need to think of a name. I've been thinking for a while and can't think up anything original, but I also want it to be somehow relevant to her work - she works for a local city council here in the UK.

at my school, when we take quizzes, everybody takes it individually, and then the same quiz in small teams of 5-6.
i failed the quiz and i remember seeing a girl in my group who seems to not like me very much, smiling when she saw my grade, and for a second, it seemed like my bad grade affirmed her and made her happy to be not the worst grade
then when i'm having lunch with a friend, she talks about how she's happy with how she did, because someone else in her group failed, and it made her feel better
damn, why are medical students happy to see people do worse than them
P.S. i go to a school with graded pre-clinicals (honors, high pass, pass). ms1
