A list of puns related to "Christmas Curry"
Per Sportsradar, Curry is averaging just 13.1 points in eight Christmas Day games. That is the lowest average he has in his career on any day in which he has played at least five games on that date. The next closest is Nov. 21 when he has averaged 16.0 points in five career games. https://www.nbcsports.com/bayarea/warriors/warriors-steph-curry-eager-rectify-christmas-day-struggles-vs-suns
Warriors star Stephen Curry finished with eight 3-pointers tonight versus Memphis. That puts him at 2,994 for his career. Curry could eclipse the 3K mark on Christmas Day with six triples versus the Suns. @ESPNStatsInfo

Moved to the UK year before COVID struck, and have been here on my own since.
Where I came from (if you know what nyonya chicken curry is, you are probably from my neck of the woods!), Christmas is a just another public holiday, where friends exchange small gifts and that was it.
I didn't realise what a HUGE affair it is until I came to the UK, and saw the kind of preparations my colleagues go in to and how excited they get about it. Since I came, I volunteered to work over Christmas, since I don't really do much during the period and I can cover the work for the colleagues who want to take the time off. For me, it isn't a big deal since I live on my own and I don't go out much other than work. And work is pretty light during this period, so it is easy to cover the work for my colleagues.
I will be working again this week and next week, but I decided to get in with the mood this time. Instead of turkey with all the trimmings, I decided to make a big pot of nyonya chicken curry in the Crockpot, which is now simmering merrily away.
The pot is probably big enough for me to eat through the weekend so I don't need to think about what to cook for the rest of the week. The house is starting to smell faintly of the curry and I am starting to wind down the workweek for the Christmas bank holidays.
I made the curry from a paste I got from my hometown, so that will give me a nice reminder of home (haven't been back since COVID, so that is more than 2 years since I seen my parents and friends in person).
How are your Christmas preparation getting along?
Itβs really nice of them, but maybe I should eat fewer curriesβ¦
Edit: I gave in and ordered a curry
It begins. I'll be on the toilet if you need me

This is a Tim Curry (NOT the actor) custom Myrmidon XL Flipper with an S35VN blade and black/red G10 scales. Has a gorgeous hollow blade grind and wonderfully smooth action. From what I can tell this sold for $800 originally, but I got it off AZCK for $550. Curry retired a few years ago and few of his pieces are the same so it's hard to gauge the value these days.
Condition wise it's very good/excellent. It came to me pretty dirty and gritty, but I took it apart and cleaned it thoroughly, then lubed it with Nano Oil (pivot) and KPL (detent). The resulting knife is so damn smooth. Peep the video.
Asking $480 shipped because I'm trying to have some of that holiday spirit everyone's always on about. Comes in a leather zipper case.
Wondering if there are any Indian restaurants in Clayton that deliver on Christmas day ? Thanks x ( Or any less local that will deliver to Clayton )
He is currently at 128 consecutive games for second place ahead of Kyle Korver at 127, and 29 games behind himself at 157. To break his own record, heβll have to hit a 3pt fg in each of the next 30 games he plays. That could mean that he would break it on Christmas Day, barring injury, rest, etc.
Ray Allenβs record is, coincidentally, now 128 made 3-pt shots from being beat. At the current rate of 4.7 per game, thatβs 28 games away.
Could be fun in a way, if he beat both records in the same game :) - but Iβd rather he beat the other record of 402 in a season, which would have him average above 5.1 per game, given that heβll not be playing all games.
He could also extend his record for most seasons leading the league in 3-pt made to 7 (Harden and Allen are at 3 each).
Curiously, he has never made 9 or more in a half, or 8 or more in a quarter, keeping him out of the top 5 for each of those records.
Which, if any, of these or other records do you think heβll beat this year?
