For those of you who didn't know, Cheryl/Carol's alter ego from season five (Archer Vice), Cherlene, actually released a country album featuring K-Log! Jessy Lynn Martens is the actual singer (as opposed to Judy Greer) and the entire soundtrack is featured in S5 even though you might not have noticed it before.
I actually got the album back in '15, and even though I'm not a country fan, there are a couple gems like Gypsy Woman and Cherlene's Broken Hearts and Auto Parts that I really like. If you haven't heard it before, you can find it on Apple and Spotify.
Had to take her for a drive yesterday, just to get a few good shots. Had her a week and a half.

Tonight I was listening to the great final track "Straight to Hell" and realized the end of song has changed. I've listened to it many times over the years and it used to end with Krieger, Ray and Pam joining in on the final chorus and Ray stating "Y'all my mom actually did say I was going to hell, but she's dead and I win." Then after the final beat Pam & Ray enthusiastically declared "Holy shitsnacks - Holy shitsnacks y'all - But seriously, holy shitsnacks!"
That's all gone now. Irritating that in the streaming age art can be altered or made unavailable at any time. Too bad the album was never released on CD.
After the Archer Vice season from what I saw there was no real explanation as to why she stopped acting like a country singer. I was just wondering if any of you knew why this would be the case?
I actually really like Cherlene's songs on Spotify. Can anyone recommend similar artists? I've not found anything that scratches that itch yet. TIA!
I enjoyed the songs when I first heard them on the show, but I never put much thought into them.
Just recently, I sat down and listened to the full album for the first time on its own, and I am so thoroughly impressed with this show.
They didn’t need to put so much detail and effort into her album, but chose to anyway, and it’s just reminding me once again how incredible this show is.
Is there any good site or sub for less than super-popular character quotes along with one-off and famous characters? Like Cheryl, Hank Scorpio, Rick Sanchez, Teddy Perkins, Tobias Funke. I am new to reddit & lazy. And, like Cheryl, I don't hate ALL babies. Just human ones.
