A list of puns related to "Call Progress Tone"
So here goes. I've been living in UK (London) for 2 years. I've lived in 2 different flats during that time. And from time to time I just hear these noises (the ones you hear when you're calling someone before they pick up. Call waiting tones?) I can hear them so clearly, but then when they stop I don't hear anyone talking or anything. They just stop. For the first few months I thought that they were just in my head, or maybe my neighbour was using some sort of hearing aid. But then I moved places and I still hear them! Is that a common thing? Do you get that too?
A lot of the apologetics surrounding Nidas leaked call gives the Caliph way too much benefit of the doubt.
Both the tone and the content of the call makes huzurs mindset and intention very clear.
Its dismissive. Using hallmarks of Victim blaming like "you presented yourself to them" and "why didn't you come earlier". Over and over, in different ways he shows that he is just trying to have her not report this.
This is no well intentioned conversation.
Even without the terribly damning context surrounding it, this line takes the cake:
> you have survived(rape) now, and I would say that your honor and betterment is in leaving this matter and even if it happened, then the culprit would have repented before God
Whether the allegations are true or not, he just wants her to not talk. As is consistent with the rest of the call, he is trying to shut this up. He even resorted to thinly veiled threats at another point in the call.
Regardless of whether the allegations are true, this is not how you approach someone who is making these accusations.
Huzur messed up. He messed up pretty bad.

Iβm sorry if this question may sound silly, but I havenβt been able to acquire a clear answer from research.
For example, letβs say I have a POTS line coming in from the telco provider, just a standard 2 conductor wire terminated to a 66 block. I then terminate the premise cabling to that line to be used for a fire or security panel.
The panel at this point can receive dial tone just fine, it can dial out. However, what happens if I try calling the number thatβs assigned to this line? Will it interrupt the service or does a device thatβs receiving the dial tone have to βpick upβ the incoming phone call?
Thank you!
