I’m a disabled model, writer, actress and I’ve been told I’m beautiful inside and out. But I’m not relationship material because I’m in a wheelchair. Been blocked, ghosted as soon as they realise my disability. Would you have a serious relationship with a physically disabled person? Why or why not?

I hate hitting a beautiful shot but then end up not being able to find it after.
Too many times have I hit a wonderful shot; it’s straight, great distance, no obstacles, but then lose track of it at the end. Having to take a drop on a shot that shouldn’t have been lost is way more frustrating than hitting a bad shot that’s still playable.

So during a class about research and relating to the psychology, experiences of characters (for writing) the professor spoke about how WRONG he was to assume as a male that pregnancy and delivery is some magical experience that is euphoric for a woman mainly because of how stupidly it is depicted in media. Hold on, this professor is also a QUALIFIED DOCTOR who has literally been inside operation theatres, delivered babies and first hand experienced how traumatic it can really get, the permanent side effects of birth etc.
This sets off a bunch of mothers who just start with what does a man even know? 'Giving birth is the ultimate joy that any woman can ever experience, whoever hasn't done it has no clue, all that pain, suffering is so worth it etc etc' 😐 One of them even went to the extent that pop culture should just stop 'exposing the horrors of pregnancy' as after her younger sister saw what pregnancy did to her, she went CF. Even doctors 'advice to keep unmarried women unaware about the HORRORS of pregnancy otherwise a lot of women will refuse to bear children'.
I think as CF people we should absolutely use any opportunity to destroy the narrative of pregnancy being some magical rainbows and sunshine experience, it literally changes the body forever. This aspect so needs more attention, might actually help people realise they do want to be CF and not spoil their body and a child's life.
