A list of puns related to "Brabham"
Basically what the title said. Here is what I mean. Why don't f1 cars use the engine as the fan so it can work like the Brabham car.
So f1 engines peak at around 13,000rpm, but they aren't always at their max rpm so a good estimate for the average rpm of an f1 car during the entire race is around 10,000 rpm. However, only after every 2nd complete engine rotation, air is sucked in (intake phase). So divide 10,000/2 = 5,000. 5,000 x 1.6L displacement = 8,000 liters of air sucked in every minute or 150 liters of air sucked in a second. That is insane. So I was wondering, instead of mounting the air intake on the top of the car, why don't f1 teams mount the air intake on the bottom of the car so the engine can work like the fan like on the brabham. Not only would it create a lot of downforce (and be very helpful for drivers like Seb who need planted rears) it would create less drag than using a physical wing. Not only that, but the top mounted air intake forms a wake in front of the rear wing which reduces the efficiency of the rear wing. However, with that top mounted air intake gone, there is no longer a wake which means you can get more downforce out of a small rear wing, reducing drag, however, at the same time, gaining massive downforce. There is only one downside I see to this, and that is when drivers come off the throttle, there would be a massive decrease in downforce, and if the second downside being if the FiA bans this, then teams might not have a backup.
So I just realized that 2TZ could work with BT55 chassis because of it's extreme inclination in stock form won't cause oiling system like M10 did. Shrunk the bore to 90mm, dry sump, big ass turbo, motor mount and it probably could fit in the chassis. The only problem I found is that 2TZ were manufactured in 90s while BT55 are 80s car
Hi, i'm looking for this car from the guerilla's patreon.
