Me: how would I know the author if I haven't even heard of the book.

Me: never heard of him

Dad: I.P. Daily?

Son: "Mommy. Do you know who wrote this book?"

Wife: "No, buddy. Who?"

Son: "The author."

I was talking with my mom about books. I said I rarely read fiction, if I would want fiction's, I'd watch a movie or play a videogame. My mom said she only likes biographies, but "not the ones by different authors, but by the subjects themselves". To which I said:

"You mean autobiographies?"

When my father decided to chime in the topic:

"I'd rather read bicyclebiographies"

me: "what do you mean?"

him: "the opposite".

Me- Did you know, <random author> dedicated her book to her dog?

Dad- No I didn't know that, ButtStuffYes, but, if you ever write a book, you better dedicate it to your dad and momicate it to your mom.

Mom-"thats it im done"

Dad- makes the usual triumphant face

We're in the middle of moving and i just got my bookshelves all set up. Unfortunately, there isn't enough space in one single room for them all (I've got too many, like addiction level). My wife brings up that the author 'B' section probably has the most books. I'm pretty sure it's 'S' names. Then she unleashes, "That makes sense, because it's just a bunch of b.s." Golf clap.
