I have been to the UK many times, and have known many Brits over the course of my life. One thing is clear: as an American they made me feel like I was the scum of the world because I had friends who were not White like myself. Yes, I felt bad because hey I’m American and the whole world shits on us for our history with slavery. But I hate that we never focus on how closeted racist the British society has been all along.
I'm a Black American and I'm just wondering this, was there any racial tension between the Citizens of your country and the Gis. I've heard stories of Race Riots in your country between your Citizens who refused to segregate the Black Troops at the demand of White American officers.
