A list of puns related to "Bing Maps For Enterprise"
Thank you to the people that answer my question, I hope you all have a wonderful day ahead. Stay safe and take care folks!
Ok, I think some backstory is needed. About 2 years ago my friend and I used to kill time by searching for cool locations on bing maps, then we would take a picture of it and save it. Today I found the file where we put all the pictures and most of them were just cool locations or funny things we caught. I saw this one pretty early into the file and at first it looked normal but then I saw this weird formation that looks like a face. Now, I don't remember where we found this but I am pretty sure it's somewhere in South America. I wanna find it again but I don't know how to do it, any help is appreciated.

When I open any maps app while in office it shows us at a Honda Dealership over 1000 miles away from our current office. We did move offices but kept our ip and stayed in the same city. When I search the geoID of our IP addresses they are in the correct city. Anyone run into this?
Whatever data source both Bing and Google map use has bad data. Note on 4g/5g we show up in the correct location but if a phone is on the wifi it shows the wrong location until GPS updates
Flight sim just wonโt stream anything from Bing maps. Itโs got nothing to do with internet connection as itโs over 300mbits although I do believe I know whatโs causing the issue. I recently installed the Google Maps replacement mod which streams imagery from google, the other night I quit this mod whilst mid flight thinking it would automatically switch back to Bing although this was not the case. Fast forward to this morning and MSFS is only in offline mode.
Iโve tried basically everything including a reinstall although for some reason it was only 90gbs? I did do this by deleting all the MSFS files in my D drive which I know is not really good to do as there will still be files left over but I donโt really know how to properly reinstall (I own flight sim through ms store).
Any Ideas on how to fix this except doing a total reinstall on another drive? (Which Iโll need to delete other apps for) and is it even the add on causing this?
Working fine last night but since this morning none of the map tiles are being displayed. Icons and overlays are displayed as they should be, but no tiles. This is both on https://www.bing.com/maps and my own site with custom maps.
It only seems to be a problem with (Linux) Firefox. OK on Android, also OK on Falkon and Edge (both on Linux).
Looking at Firefox's console I see:
15:46:22.669 Loading failed for the <script> with source โhttps://t.ssl.ak.dynamic.tiles.virtualearth.net/comp/ch/0313113222?mkt=en-GB&it=Z,L,LA&og=1667&cb=Microsoft.Maps.NetworkCallbacks.normal&jsonso=3af68&js=1&tj=1&vpt=e,p,pg&cstl=vbp2โ. maps:1:1
Attempting to go to that link gets a MOZILLA_PKIX_ERROR_OCSP_RESPONSE_FOR_CERT_MISSING
message, which seems to be saying its an SSL problem. Which makes it doubly odd that the other browsers are working.
I've tried with a new profile - same result. Also tried using Firefox in a Windows Virtual Machine and the same result applies there, so it seems not to be Linux-specific.
This seems contradictory, but let me explain.
I am a route auditor for a local solid waste hauling company (garbage). I ensure all routes are efficient and all accounts are up to date with no errors in their routing or any other information.
When we get new accounts in, or accounts are having issues with our service, I have to look up the account's addresses and go from there to determine the best route or to find out if they were placed on the correct route.
9 times out of ten, Bing Maps is much more accurate and correct at finding addresses than Google Maps. Most of our accounts are located in rural West Virginia, and many times Google is listing roads with outdated road names and incorrect addresses, or it can't even find the addresses to begin with. Not to mention it will list the address in a completely wrong location, even. Like in the middle of the forest...
Bing I have found is almost always correct with road names, latitude and longitude location, and addresses.
As per my job, I also use County Assesor's maps to verify addresses as well, and once again, Google has proven to be more inaccurate with there pin-point lat-long placements compared to Bing. Bing is almost always spot-on.
That said, Bing is HORRIBLE with directions, with many times resulting in no suitable directions available between 2 locations. So I use google most of the time, but I hand place pins if Google can't find the address that Bing found.
One last thing. As good as bing is with finding addresses and roads, their search engine is absolute shit. 0/10 would not recommend. Thanks for reading.
*Switch version.
It's weird, all the other games have beautiful crisp versions and it's actually even kinda hard to find spoiler versions of them. But LA is just littered with them.
I've been trying to find some info on this online but haven't been able to find any (maybe not wording my searches right)
Also the data tab in MSFS has said 98gb since I installed it... as in it has literally never updated so I assume not accurate even as a monthly number.
I'm just wondering what the average data usage of MSFS actually is with bing graphics since we live in a lovely world of ISP data caps and want to make sure im not screwing myself over for work since I decided to fly jets across the virtual country every day LOL.
Does anyone know? Or anyone found a good way to monitor accurately how much data MSFS itself uses per flight or something? I know it would be different if your in a large city VS out over a desert or something, but in this case im doing flights like Chicago to Vegas and im worried thats a HUGE amount of data for both cities and everywhere in between.
EDIT: it actually is important. I already pretty much hit my data cap every month due to the enormous amount of files I am downloading constantly at work. Sometimes a single project is hundreds of gigs so every gigabyte of usage counts. especially from non work related things. If MSFS is using on average 1-2gb per hour, especially at the distance and time I fly, thats a huge deal for me.
I'm working on a book and am using a combination of maps, trip notes, photos and aerial photography to remind myself of the exact terrain. It's not true everywhere, but in Northern Manitoba, Northern Saskatchewan and Nunavut Bing Maps often gives you FAR more resolution on the landscape, rapids, and sometimes even portage trails than Google Maps
For example, check out this section of the Thlewiaza River as it flows over Kasmere Falls

Hi, I normally use google maps to plan a bike tour, but it's a little clunky. So hope you can help with getting what I want out of bing, at the moment it seems to be even clunkier and have a lack of features.
Can BING act as a sat nav on my phone the same as google maps? If not, then this is pointless.
How can I create an Itinerary? My options only seem to be to create a new City one, eg, selecting London and then new London Itinerary. I can't seem to rename this, and it seems a massive pain to try and add points NOT in London.
What I want from this is say a Scotland Castles tour. For me to say Day1 goes from home to x then y then z, and have a route plotted. Day 2 leaves z and goes to a then b then c with a route plotted. ETC.
Thanks.
