I have never seen a park configuration like this.
A couple of friends and I are looking to play some beach volleyball and plan on heading down to Woodbine beach in the morning next Sunday with our own net. Are you able to just take a court if it's free? What's the availability like? I also heard that a place called Beach Toyz does rentals for volleyball equipment but can't really find info on it, is there a place where we could rent incase we need something?
I got no friends in Toronto (at least not anyone that likes volleyball), I really want to join playing beach volleyball but I'm not sure if it was club or they have their own circles? Does anyone know if its pickup or do I need a group with friends and a net? (Also, does anyone want to play beach volleyball there? I'm already vaccinated)

I'm hoping someone here can help me find a group to play some competitive 2s beach volleyball. I live downtown and have been playing at Woodbine with a fun group but am looking for something more competitive. Now that things are starting to open up a bit with social distancing, I feel much more comfortable joining some other groups.
I moved to Toronto last year and since indoor volleyball is closed for the time being, I would like to continue playing beach! If anyone here plays and is looking for an extra player, please DM me. OR, perhaps there is a better place to be posting / checking? I have checked Meetup, which is great, but they don't seem to have people on their advertising for 2s specifically.
