As the title implies, I'm trying to look at options when using Batelco Fiber Optic with their supplied ONT/Router combo. I've already messaged their Live Chat support and had a conversation with it, where they pretty much told me no, but I thought I'd check here to see if anyone has managed to do this, or knows a better way to go about it.
Ideally I'd like to use my own routers and mesh system in my house, when I went to put the supplied Huawei Router into Bridge Mode though, I found that it wasn't available as an option. Anywhere. I could set a static IP/enable UPnP, but there'll still be performance loss. When I inquired about it, the representative wasn't exactly helpful, but I get they were just doing their job, so no hard feelings there. I also asked if I could use my own ONT in lieu of, seeing if there'd be ONT/OLT authentication errors, but I wasn't able to get a clear answer on that.
So my question here is, has anyone managed to have Batelco remove the restrictions to use their router in Bridge Mode, or successfully used their own ONT for home network use?
Hi guys, so itโs been a month since I moved to Bahrain, took me 2 weeks to get my CPR after which I applied for Batelco Home Internet. I applied on the 15th of September and these guys keep saying they donโt have a cable part. Iโve called in multiple times and they say theyโve sent emails to the โPlanning departmentโ. This is some bs, how is such a big telecom provider so damn inefficient? I called today and they said to call again in a week. Iโve been spending so much money on their shitty add on service for which you have to call to get it removed so you can add another add on. Should I try Viva and see if theyโre any faster? I ordered batelco 3 weeks ago, and they hadn't shown up yet. It took nearly 3 months for my friends to get fiber delivered to their home by batelco. So to all those people that batelco fiber optic, how long did it take for you to get it delivered to your homes ?
How much bandwidth does batelco TV consume like generally per month? If it's included in a package does it count towards my bandwidth cap at all?
Iโm posting this on my LTE right now.. batelcoโs call service at (dialing 196) isnโt working. I did this because my WiFi was dead and thereโs no reason that it should happen on my end. because of the way the call service is functioning, I am going to assume Iโm not the only one facing difficulties right now.
Is anyone else currently dealing with problems with their home WiFi?

Is there anyone who uses it and can share his/her experience? How is the speed? How is the customer service?

Anyone here have any experience with the Batelco High Speed Fiber packages? I am looking to make the change from Zain to Batelco for my flat in Juffair. They have told me that it is available in my building so that sounds good but I am curious how is the installation/setup. Since I am in a tower. How can they run fiber to my flat. I assume if they say my building is supported then there must be some sort of Batelco junction box in my building then they run a shot to the flat. Still trying to understand how the installation is done. If anything can enlighten me on this please do.

The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
