Barred Lambda Puns

I was just googling to remind myself lambda(confused with gamma). I tried searching other random word, but it doesn't show for those.

So I've been reading and learning about reflection in programming languages in general and how it's basically equivalent to "black magic" in computers, how it should never be used unless absolutely necessary, and very scarcely, how it should only be used by advanced developers, etc.

Then I got more intrigued and read about how these reflections are implemented in Kotlin because you're damn right I wanna put some black magic in my code and I don't care about being a novice while doing so, until I read Kotlin's Reflection API documentation and realized.. that I've been using reflections a ton in Android development without realizing it with the double colons :: reflection operator.

Be it with creating intents, adding Json adapters, initializing Room databases, Retrofit API services, making functions pass as functional interface arguments and more, it took me aback a bit considering all the alarm bells I've read about the usage of reflections due to their performance overhead impact and yet they're everywhere on my Android code.

Have I been writing bad, unoptimized code without realizing it? or is reflection-usage common with real Android development?

Is applying reflection equally common in other real-world programming frameworks? What is your take on reflection?

I will briefly go over each character for central Fiction and tell you how they play and what they have to offer to make the search a bit easier for you all.

Now in no particular order we have:

Naoto- A technical rushdown fist fighter that has quick movements but sadly no projectiles. His drivability does provide a decent range for poking though. He also has a movement option that goes through projectiles.

Hibiki- The stealthy ninja of the game. He utilizes quick combos and shadow clones to get his victories.

Hazama- A bit difficult to learn but an excellent character to play if you are a fan of mixups. He fires chains to latch onto a point on the screen and pull himself towards it allowing for insane mobility despite his low base speed.

Tsubaki- A very good character with lots of combo routes and pretty good mobility. Though if you want to make the most of her, learning to keep her charges up is essential.

Nu 13- The most pure zoning character in the game. She uses sword summons to keep opponents away as well as juggle them midair. She also has a slowdown field and a nifty teleport for mixups. Despite being a zoner she has decent up close attacks as well if you learn to utilize them well.

Ragna- He is heavy rushdown with a lot of options to do so with. His special ability attacks have a small life steal mechanic. Has one of the lowest HP pools in the game.

Jin- One of the best all rounders in the game. He has good combo routes and up close options as well as a lot of range options. He can shoot ice projectiles as well as freeze your opponent for a brief stun in your favor.

Lambda 11- An echo character of Nu 13 but with a heavy emphasis on melee combat she gets 3 very quick dash attacks that are great for startups or combo extensions.

Bullet- Rushdown brawler with a slight amount of grappling as well. She uses her lock on mechanic to build charges that increase her capabilities with her specials and supers. She is fairly fast, hits pretty hard and is an absolute noob Slayer lol.

Kagura- A heavy hitting stance type character, I would say he is ideal for players that are good at reading their opponent as most of his moves make excellent defensive and counter options

Izanami- The swiss army knife of the game with lots of different types of m

For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.

As the title implies, I will be making a tier list with explanations for their rankings for a dozen or so YouTubers that have been active on the platform and helped promote EU4 to more people.

I've spent more time watching YouTubers play EU4 than I actually spent in game, and I've played for almost 4k hours now so I think I can give some insight into why they are ranked the way they are, but at the end of the day, all of them can be enjoyed and learned from in some way. Take note that I started playing EU4 at the end of 2017 with the release of Cradle of Civilization so I only know of YouTubers that were active during that time and after.

If I do not rate a YouTuber it is because I either do not watch them or do not know of them. Time-lapse channels won't be rated as I don't like them.

A Pole with an amazing skill - to turn even the worst campaign disasters into thriving countries.

He became know for his "Saving your ruined campaigns" series and still does them from time to time. He does achievement runs, nation guides, EU4 announcements and is pretty diverse with his content.

Easy S tier, the EU4 community would be very different without him.

In my opinion, a living EU4 legend. He became known as a Byzantium main and mainly came known for his opening moves guides for Byzantium, since then, he has done a lot of very good runs like the Knights one tag; Roman true one tag, one faith, one culture on very hard with ZERO exploits.

Crazy Bohemia, Hungary, Prussia runs are great as well.

He mostly streams, but God I wish he made more stuff on YouTube.

He became known for making a lot, and I mean a lot of guides for various nations really quickly. Then he had a slight controversy with AlzaboHD and has since shifted and massively improved the quality of his videos. He plays the way I wish I had the balls to play, and even better. Best to just watch his recent Germany video and that should speak for itself. A bit over the top with ze shtackenwippen but idizwadidiz. Has potential for S. Did "True Heir of Timur" before the end of 1500.

I'm currently working on a semi-functional language, and I'm wondering whether I should implement first-class function capabilities for object messages. It would greatly complicate how anonymous function privatives are implemented because they would require some sort of an independent reference to it's parent object(like a this) in addition to simply being an instruction pointer of sorts.

I had come to the conclusion that not all object-messages have to support first class function behavior - things like operator overloads and constructors don't really (and probably shouldn't) be used as first class functions.

It had also occured to me that, if first-class object messages were implemented, there would still need to be a way to differentiate between first class functions that behave more akin to event handlers, and full on object message receivers that act as anonymous functions.
