A list of puns related to "Bad Electrical"
EDIT: The country I'm in is Spain.
I am purchasing some new synths after some time without and I wanted to check what things I should be aware of with regards to the current coming from the walls. I live in in Spain, so specifics should be relevant to that area. I'm having an electrician come in for some other stuff so can have them get things set up correctly, but waned to ask exactly what I should tell them.
I know I should get good surge protectors. Beyond that, coming from the US, I remember that it's important that the electrical outlets should be grounded. Is that true in the EU as well? Lastly, I remember that the surge protectors I had warned me when the electricity was "out of phase" or "reversed" or something like that. What should I tell the electrician with regards to this?
Thanks for any info!
I'm looking at an older townhouse in the west end. Unfortunately it uses electrical heating and doesn't have central AC. Would anyone have an idea of how much more I'll spend on heating on cooling costs compared to say having gas heating and an HVAC system in general. For context, it's just two of us for now.
Would appreciate any insight as I'm quite unfamiliar with this stuff and have been getting mixed answers by googling.
So I set up my 2nd rig and was configuring hive os OC's and it blew the electrical in my room. Everything went out. I'm in the US on 110v it's 15amp I believe so should give me 1650w for the room. What I didn't realize was all the other shit on in the room and I think the "room" next time mine is also on the same circuit. I didn't think I was coming close to thar 1650w yet.
I went to the circuit breaker and the switch wasn't flipped. Flipping it back and back again does nothing. Did I fry the wiring in this room ? Did I blow a fuse or somethin? Any help appreciated.... I need to figure this out lol
Edit : FIXED IT : THE breakers were sort of labeled incorrectly , it was labeled as the entry lights for the hallway next to the dining room ( which is my room) and I hadn't seen that this entry lights one was flipped. Flipped it back and we're all good. THANKS EVERYONE .
I just learned more about electrical in a house in 1.5 hours than I had my whole life probably. Fuck ya.
Bad Electrical Conduction on EKG
[M44, 120-130lbs, 5β6] When my dad got an EKG done on him, the doctor told my dad his heart had low electrical conduction and referred him to a cardiologist for the 15th of November. What does a bad electrical conduction mean? Is it serious?

Hint 1: 1970's film
I had the starter in my 2007 Saturn Ion replaced on Monday and later that night the stereo unit lost power while I was driving. It developed some display issues recently so I figured it just pooped out on me. I didnβt drive it until Thursday and then once again, my car wouldnβt start and now the windows werenβt working either.
The entire electrical system in my car has always worked perfectly, this power issue only showed up after the new starter was installed. All the lights in the car and the headlights still work fine and the battery is still good, itβs only the windows and stereo that have no power. They both worked when my original starter went out last Friday.
My mechanic is going to look at it on Monday and when I spoke to him on the phone he initially said the starter was probably faulty. When I told him about the windows and stereo he said thereβs a possibility an electrical issue is causing the new starter to fail, but it doesnβt make sense to me that an electrical issue would suddenly develop after a new part was installed and then cause the new part to fail.
What makes sense to me is that the starter is faulty and itβs created a short thatβs causing the other parts to fail. Thatβs something that can happen right? Or is my logic flawed? Iβm not the most well versed in car electrical systems but Iβd like to think I know basic stuff.
Chrysler Crossfire electrical issues.
Iβm in the process of purchasing a 2006 Chrysler Crossfire. Itβs a really good deal and the car is mechanically sound.
The issue is with the electrical aspects of the car, of which there are only two.
The drivers side headlamp does not illuminate at all. The low beams, high beams, and turn signal work on the passenger side but none work on the drivers side.
The power seat does not work on the drivers side. None of the directional controls work in the seat.
There arenβt any other electrical issues with the car. I just donβt know what could cause the issues listed, especially the headlight issue.
I'm in Junior Highschool right now and I'm making the decisions of my career already and I want to pursue Electrical Engineering with a lot of research I concluded that the best Engineering course is Electrical. And I'm in it for the sake of money because I know that I will have a good career pursuing this course. And I'm worried that I won't enjoy my career as much. That in the end, I will give up, even my sister said to me that I might only last a month pursuing Electrical Engineering.
I come here to ask if that a good idea? Or a bad one?
And if you're asking what is my grade I have pretty nice grades when it comes to math either it's my highest or second-highest when it comes to grades. I'm even with honors in our class.
But I personally think that my grades would be nothing if I don't the passion. Like the quote, I know "You work hard because you have the passion to, and because of that I have the passion to work hard."
I can work hard but what if I don't have the passion.
Long story short, my band played our first gig a few nights ago and I brought my cassette player/recorder to get our set on tape. I made the mistake of plugging the tape player into an outlet at the venue. The outlet was also being used for the sound board. After I got home from the gig, I listened over the tape and what do you know, there's this annoying high pitched humming sound throughout all of the songs. My best guess is that the humming was caused by electrical interference and I can handle that via an audio editor after I get the tape digitized. Can anybody confirm or deny my guess?
02 RSX type S.
No start no crank.
The bottom left lights near temp gauge flicker when turning the key. When they manage to stay on and not flicker, the starter will click once or twice and then flicker.
Cousin said he had the same issue, thought It was a starter, ended up being a bad ground.
If anyone has a diagram of stock ground locations, or doesnβt mind taking pictures please help me out. My transmission ground was messed with the most and apparently that influences the starter. Thank you.
Correct me if Iβm wrong.
This happened out of nowhere, only a couple days after we finished the 75% rebuild of the whole car. Did not touch the AC or the steering rack but just about everything else. Only electronics he did was the negative battery terminal. Some funky rig. He relocated the ground to the transmission I believe but wouldnβt be surprised if he did something else
I would take it to a shop but the tow alone will be next to $200 and I would like to try my best before doing so.
I have tried it with a brand new battery and tested lots of voltages although none at the grounds and all check out.
