I've got an upcoming shower to go to, my first one, and I don't know what the norm is! It's my boyfriends sister, so we were wondering do we split the gift? Is that normal etiquette? Or is it solely from me?

Since Harry Potter was already famous when he returned to the wizarding world for something only he ever accomplished, he'd likely have been featured in the popular trading cards. I'd say he'd easily get all the credit for the feat of surviving at that time instead of people knowing about Lili's credit.
And since its been a span of 10 years since the envent, I think it's likely that Ron would already have a few baby Harry cards in his attic but he didnt bring that up at the time to not sound creepy.
Maybe there's information already confirming or contradicting this but I think its a funny thought.
