A list of puns related to "B Story"
Yeah I know there are four Toy Story movies, So it's a quadrilogy now, I'm just giving my opinion on why I think The First three Toy Story which is basically a trilogy is better than The Lotr trilogy. I'd love to read your opinions too. I'll mention them as Toy Story Trilogy.
Here are the reasons on why I think The Toy Story trilogy is better than the lotr trilogy
Impact:
Lotr movies are masterpiece and had a big impact on movies indeed but Toy Story movies gave us a new genre of movies that being 3D animation, & in 1995 making a movie fully made from computer animation was revolutionary, & The Incredible CGI in Lotr was also possible because of Toy Story,(They used the same software or something like that). Animation is a genre that can do things that Live Action can't just see the Disney Live action remakes. Even if done right Animation can do things Live action can't. Like imo Spirited Away wouldn't work as great as a Live Action movie.
Consistency:
All 3 Lotr movies are critical masterpiece. Same with Toy Story trilogy. But I think it's more impressive for Toy Story to do that, Because Lotr is an adaptation from a book while Toy Story is completely original. & Lotr was planned from the start and they were made at the same time, But The Toy Story trilogy wasn't planned they were made after years of gap. The Toy Story trilogy is the most consistent trilogy indeed(atleast Hollywood). The LOTR trilogy is not as consistent, but still very consistent compared to most trilogies (Star Wars, Nolan Batman, Back to the Future). I think The Two Towers is the weakest of the three. It's so dreadfully boring in places. Particularly the scenes with the Ents. Gimli and Legolas became stereotypes (and pure comic relief), and some of the Orcs have REALLY silly accents. Are we supposed to be in Middle-Earth or New Zealand? There's even a Bugs Bunny orc. Seriously, he even says "Nyeeeah" ("What's up, doc?"). I still really love the movie, but it's not as good a film as Fellowship and it isn't as entertaining as Return of the King. Toy story never dips in quality.
Characters:
The characters in lotr are compelling but not as compelling as the toy gang imo, Woody,Buzz,Andy even secondary characters like Mr.Potato Head have more personality than Sauron for eg.(Lotso is a better more complexed villian) The characters in toy story are mostly for comic relief but they are still more complexed way more complexed than The Lord of the rings Characters. The c

How did you discover B&BWs? What age? What was the first product you purchased? What was the first product you got that took you from casual fan who indulges themselves every so often, to a huge fan who regularly checks out their products? What are your favorite scents?
I'll start! I was getting ready to start middle school. I was finally allowed to choose a perfume after my aunt told me about B&BWs. I remember walking in and immediately finding Twilight Woods. This got me excited because it smelled amazing, and I was OBSESSED with Twilight (this was 2008 lol). So I chose that and wore it CONSTANTLY! The thing that moved me from casual fan to avid fan was the candles. I had burned candles, but it would be a couple of candles in a year. Between when the pandemic hit, then the protests and riots, and my mom getting admitted to the hospital for a while after going into kidney failure. Somewhere between all of that, I started burning candles consistently and it became comforting. I burned through all I had and then had to replenish haha. Then I'd burn through the replacements pretty fast. After a few months of that eventually I'd check the site every couple weeks for new scents or sales, and I would justify it as anxiety relief and it was something positive to look forward to between all of the chaos. My all time favorites (I can't pick just one lol) are Warm Apple Pie, Pumpkin Bonfire, Cider Lane, Tiki Beach and Blueberry Maple Pancakes!
I was reminded of this today and honest to Shai Hulud havenβt thought of this movie since like 1998. I saw this one time as a young kid in the 90βs and itβs grittiness reminded me of Terminator 1.
Such an excellent and terrifying trashy b movie with amazing rewlly fun practical effects

I went to Killington yesterday. We stop skiing at lunchtime and then I notice I didn't have my car keys with me. I just froze and had to tell everyone I had lost the keys. After several runs of trying to find my keys in the slopes I gave up. I was ready to borrow a car, drive to Boston for 3+ hours. Get the spare key, drive back 3+ and open the car. This was the most frustrating feeling ever. When getting prices on the car towing and locksmiths I was about to kill myself.
For me it would be Julia Rogerts A story: A Julia Roberts parody B: Steve getting Jeff and Barry to meet.
So I'm writing a screenplay with very few characters. I'm wondering if it's possible to cheat it. It might be difficult considering the B Story character is quite often the opposite of the Antagonist, you can't have a character that encourages and discourages the protagonist at the same time.. right?
So of course, the B story character, is the character who encourages the protagonist to be a better version of themselves, to have an arc. And the Antagonist is the opposing force.
Ok, so in my script, without giving too much away. The protagonist's daughter is something the antagonist wants to kill, the antagonist doesn't know the protagonists daughter is the thing he wants to kill. He encourages the protagonist to stand by his daughter, regardless of the circumstances. Of course, in the end, the Antagonist eventually finds the truth, and there are a lot of conflicting emotions and maybe an arc for the Antagonist.
Are there any examples where this has worked?
Are there any low achievers or type B personalities who found success after law school in the law field? I'm talking people who aren't top 30% of the class or hardly or even never did any extracurriculars or moot court; who maybe even chose not to do any internships. Everyone in my class is constantly talking about how many hours of pro bono or shadowing they did everyday. One girl even said she did 50 hours of pro bono work in a week while being the leader of their mock trial club all in the same week before mid-terms AND she got the second highest score in the class.
Meanwhile, I haven't even checked my email for anything not directly class related and did fairly average on mid-terms. I have a terrible feeling this 3 coming years of my life will just be a waste and I'll end up just working for pennies in my bachelor's degree field after getting a JD. I keep hearing so many stories about those who aren't top 30% or don't do internships never get a job after graduation and that you may as well drop out if you don't have a 3.0 GPA with a summer internship secured first semester.
Surely there has got to be someone out there who ended up with a 6 figure job after graduation while being a low achiever.
Is there no place for people like me to earn a decent upper-middle class living in this career field?
Such a serious moment in a serious episode then, BAMβ¦ B-Story. Quickly dismissed, but showcases Sethβs humor perfectly.
Hi everyone,
I really want to get back into reading fantasy to take my mind away from the craziness of life.
I like books with female leads and I quite like young adult fantasy too, but I'm finding all the books I come across have the main plot of the story as one of two things: the main character gets involved with some sort of prince/forbidden thing/fae and that takes over the plot. Or the story starts and the character is already a powerful sorceress/assassin/thief etc.
Stories like this are cool but can anyone recommend a book where the character starts off pretty normal and has to learn to work their way out of situations? Not necessarily "they are the chosen one" but they have to deal with life and act realistically about situations, friends, potential romances etc?
I'd love to hear if anyone has recs on any type of fantasy like this. I don't mind what subgenre it falls into. Thank you so much!
Edit: thank you so much everyone! This is going to keep me busy until next Christmas! Love this subreddit!
I know that Princess saves Dragon from Knight has been done, but what about the others? I'd love to read a Dragon saves Knight from Princess story, along with all the rest.
Are there any variations that have no major tellings?

It felt really, really nice to see classic Trek stories on DISCO for a change. "Picard Burnham saves the negotiations" and "Chakotay Tilly gets trapped on a planet with people" are, like, straight out of the Rick Berman playbook. I can't say that it was executed to TNG standards, it wasn't, but it's still nice to wear familiar shoes again, if that makes sense; the writing staff is definitely still hitting the typewriter keys with a sledge hammer.
I'd give this episode a 5 out of 10: Much better than average, actually felt Treky, we got some sincere character development, there were no space battles, only one person died.... Yeah, I could willingly watch this episode again! If DISCO did more episodes like this I'd definitely enjoy it more; if DISCO did more stories like this and gave someone other than Burnham the steering wheel from time to time, I think I'd be over the moon.

βAbout three degrees east of north? Thatβs a huge help, thank you! Yep.. Have a great one.β
Sammi ended the call and looked over to Samuel. He wasnβt using the haptic gloves or headset, instead sitting at the desk in the center of the planetarium and clacking away at his keyboard.
βHow sure were they?β Samuel looked up and their eyes met, fingers poised on the keyboard.
βNot super sure, but go ahead and add it.β
On the globe filling the display on the dome above, a dot appeared in southern Alaska and a line traced three degrees east of polar north, joining two dozen other lines. The Sams had spent the last day of Silia's deadline calling high schools, university astronomy clubs, and anybody else they could think of who lived in what was once western Canada and the northwestern United States. The Painter Observatory mailing list had been a huge help for this. For each call, they really only had two questions:
Did you see the meteor a couple of months back?
If you did, where on the horizon did it go?
Each data point got a dot at the callerβs location, then a line extending along the path where they saw it land. The more certain they were, the narrower the line. With just three data points, they should have been able to triangulate the exact location of the shuttle. If the data was perfect.
Instead, they had a spider web surrounding an area in northern Alaska that encompassed almost the entire Brooks range. Still, the web was tightening. The smaller the web got, the better their guesses on who to contact that might have seen something. Time for another call.
The employee at the small airport just south of the Brooks range sounded gruff at first, but Sammi was able to get him talking without too much trouble.
βOh, yeah, that thing! Came in pretty much right over us. Wasnβt no meteor like Iβve ever seen, though. Left a pretty dark smoke trail. It came down up in the mountains some ways north, best as I could tell. We were going to take some snowcats up there and see if we could find it, but thenβ¦β
βThen what?β Sammi couldnβt hide the eagerness i

Since Part 3 and 4 will open on Dec 22 and apparently cheat cards obtained for Part 1 will still be valid on Part 2, was wondering if on the next few days I can get more runs to even get Solomon's icon on Set A box 2 if (1) Part 1 and 2 story will still be farmable and (2) Set A will not disappear by Dec 22. Was searching on official Obey Me announcements but I can't find this specific tidbit of info maybe I just missed it.
EDIT: Got Solomon's bg at 232 pulls so I was able to move forward last night, but at this rate I need to pray intensely to draw Solomon's icon immediately at Box 2 π₯²

Marin and Keller walked side by side, taking up the rear as an energetic Sammi lead the way, lab coat twirling as they gave explanations on the history of human space flight. It was interesting, but Keller seemed to want Marin's attention for other reasons.
"Thank you again for letting me see your weapon. It's a nice piece of kit."
"It was no trouble. To be honest, I was afraid you'd be upset that I had it."
Keller shook her head, short hair swaying to match. "You do what you have to do to protect the people close to you. No matter what it takes." The serious look on her face pulled Marin up short.
"I will." Who was this woman? This was not the way a noble should be acting.
"I wanted to tell you something. I have been looking into your situation, what happened to your husband. No matter what happens, I will make sure you get help finding him. Even if our respective parties can't make a deal." Keller nodded to the rest of the group, where Jem'si was asking some questions while Sammi manipulated a display showing some primitive space capsule. "Marines stick together. We all bleed blue."
"Thank you. I didn't realize you had served." Now it was starting to come together for Marin, at least a little.
"I'm not a noble by birth, I married into this. It actually pissed a lot of people off that Jemi'si chose a 'common soldier' to be his second wife. But I do love the little guy. Can't help it." Keller let out a small smile.
Marin smirked in return. "I know what you mean."
"That's why I wanted you to know I have your back. We'll get your boy, and we'll destroy whoever hurt him."
"You have my support as well. I'll give you what information we have. To get more, though, we'll need the help of those two humans. They're... well... they're special. They have a plan to determine exactly what happened, and I think it will work."
That stopped Keller dead. "They do? Really?"
Marin nodded with a grin. "We'll need access to a ship with phase ability for at least a day, possibly three or four days. Larger is better but anything is better than nothin
