Hack Arizona is the largest hackathon in the southwest, run entirely by students at the University of Arizona! Itβs our 5th year putting on this event, and we have a lot of fun stuff planned for next weekend. In addition to our main 36 hour project-building event, we have 40+ educational sessions where you can learn to build a website, create an app, or even learn to design an artificial intelligence from Amazon engineers! You donβt have to have any kind of programming experience to participate, and we can help teach you everything you need to know! In addition to our educational sessions, we have fun activities like Super Smash Bros. Melee and Ultimate tournaments, an inflatable boxing ring, a silent disco, dogs, and more! In addition, our sponsors are looking at hiring 50-100 people directly from our event for internships and full-time jobs!
Want to participate in the 36 hour hacking event but donβt have a team to work with? Donβt worry, we have team building events where you can find other people to work with! If you prefer, you can do it alone, or not at all, and simply come just for the activities or career opportunities!
Hope we can see you there, itβs a lot of fun and a very memorable experience! And by the way, you can just sleep in the library for the event ;P
In light of what is happening with the FFA now it makes me optimistic about what changes we could experience.
