A list of puns related to "Aq Interactive"
Hello everyone. With Splinter Cell fans from the official Ubisoft forums, we decided a month ago that we would write an open letter to Ubisoft about the future of the franchise. This letter is now complete and available and I highly encourage you to read it (link is the last part of this post). However and since it's quite a long letter, I summarized its main elements below so people who don't have the time or willingness to read all of it know what it talks about.
But before, I wanted to say that if you agree with its content then I will please ask you to not only upvote this post but to express your agreement in the comments. It can be a simple sentence like "I agree with the content of this open letter" or whatever you want. Your username will then be added to the list of supporters on the page following the letter.
Now, here is a quick summary of the letter:
That's all for the summary. You can read the full open letter here : https://docs.google.com/document/d/1TaxVlnfcGVy56oQt4HHlCopUOAfAqATFF7IqT7zm5wM/
What we need now is a maximum of support and encouragement of as many Splinter Cell fans as possible before sending it to Ubisoft. So if you know any people in your entourage who is a Splinter Cell fan and would support this letter then please send them the link to this reddit post.
Once it will get enough support, we will then send it to Ubisoft through social media or by some other means and ho

First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.
I think that Democrats and Republicans are Playing Two Different Games. The Republicans are playing a game of "monopoly" or "go" while the Democrats are playing a game of "tag" or "flag football".

A few thoughts/notes I scribbled after another rewatch through 8. Please share your thoughts or point out any inaccuracies.
A. Parents - In 2021, Natalie is the only one who has come in contact with her actual parents, this feels interesting. So far we know of Natalie's mom and Jackie's parents post-wilderness, but no others have come around. Tai's mom and dad? Shauna's parents? Misty's parents? If your kid goes through this at 16/17, just feels like you're sticking around.
B. Money - Natalie clearly is doing well financially - she was paying for that storage unit for 10+ years, she is staying (albeit not nice, but still) at a motel every day, wears designer clothes. Why is her mom still in the same mobile home? Tai also has money (she does mention taking a paycut to run for office, so was a successful lawyer), but whether hers is self-made or from the lawsuit who knows. BUT then there is Shauna complaining about a $60 Uber - where is her money? And Misty, tbd she could have money but still work and live modestly bc it's Misty.
Other Random Thoughts
C. When Misty calls to tell Shauna that Travis died, Shauna doesn't ask how or when
D. What was the significance of "young Jackie" telling 2021 Shauna that someone was going to get hurt before jumping off bridge with Adam - this felt weird since Jackie doesn't seem like Shauna's "voice of reason" in 1996
E. The Motel Scene in Ep. 8 - Just a few things

A Houston Chronicle investigation found critical failures by multiple authorities tasked with ensuring the safety of attendees that day, including inadequate and poorly trained security, deficient coordination between city officials and festival management, and a nearly hourlong delay in halting the show after the danger became apparent.
It also revealed crucial decisions made during the planning of the event, including the venue layout, that experts said increased the likelihood something would go wrong and limited the ability of authorities to manage a crisis.
Interviews with dozens of attendees and concert staff, as well as a trove of public records, show a catastrophe weeks in the making.

The premise for this post is the theory that GameStop Shares (GME) have been, and continue to be, heavily manipulated. The manipulation has created extensive counterfeit shares and hidden failure to deliver (FTD) short positions. When these counterfeit shares and short positions are forced to cover and close their positions, there is a high probability of a βShort Squeezeβ or a 'MOASS.
1. Explaining Short Selling & Naked Short Selling
2. Explaining the Bankruptcy Jackpot and MOASS Theory
3. GameStop's History
Short Selling
The selling of shares you donβt own is called short selling. Market participants will sell a share they donβt own, with a commitment to buy it back later and the intention that they repurchase the share at a lower price than they sold it. If the price goes up, short sellers have an infinite risk. For example, if you hold GME and a Short Hedge Fund (SHF) needs to buy your share to cover their short position and no one else is selling, the SHF must pay your asking price = infinite loss potential to the SHF.
Short Squeeze
A short squeeze is an unusual condition that triggers rapidly rising prices in a stock. When a stock is heavily shorted, and investors are buying shares β which pushes the price up β short sellers start buying to cover their position and minimize losses as the price keeps rising. This can create a βshort squeezeβ:
If a stock's price rises quickly, then short sellers sometimes scramble to close out their positions as rapidly as possible. For a short squeeze to occur, the security must have an unusual degree of short sellers holding positions in it. As the price jumps unexpectedly higher, short positions can also be forced to cover and close their short positions. This adds buying pressure and contributes to increasing the price of the stock. This higher price may cause other short positions to be forced to cover and close their short positions, driving the price even higher. Typically this is accompanied by other long investors also purchasing the stock in an attempt to profit from the short squeeze (often referred to as FOMO).
Naked Short Selling
Typically, you cannot sel

Hey good folks of r/40kLore.
This year Iβve read, reviewed and rated all of the Primarch books and I hope the results can be useful to help you decide which one you want to read/ put on your Christmas-list. I made short (3-5 min) videos for each of them but below I shall also list their rating with a short explanation.
From Best to Worst:
Konrad Curze: The Night Haunter by Guy Haley (https://youtu.be/YSxs5o8Wfgg) The book provides you with a great insight into the mind of Konrad Curze as he holds his final confession before a grotesque statue made of human corpses. The book shows that his character is much more tragic and complex than many people think. Furthermore it acts as a great overview for the 8th legion and may or may not feature the Emperor. Itβs funny, emotional and intelligent, earning it the number 1 spot. (5/5)
Angron, Slave of Nuceria by Ian St. Martin (https://youtu.be/_3eKuGMcabY) This book shows you Angron fighting in the slave pits and the legionβs struggle with the dreaded Nails. Again itβs a very tragic story and it does a great job at turning Angron into a more complex character. Furthermore it does an excellent job of giving you a understanding of what the Nails are like. Finally the ending is awesome but I wonβt spoiler it. (5/5)
Perturabo, Hammer of Olympia by Guy Haley (https://youtu.be/Hj40Xib5bAM) We get a look at two of the most important moments of Perturaboβs life: His upbringing on Olympia and his final breaking point. This book is the perfect Greek tragedy in 40K and does a great job of explaining how Perturabo became the way he is today. Iβd also like to highlight the amount of clever references and philosophy that Haley managed to insert into it. (5/5)
Alpharius, Head of the Hydra by Mike Brooks (https://youtu.be/R_mpZA5cBNc) Now where the other 5* books did a good job of creating an emotional story, this book does something else entirely which is almost as impressive: It combines all the theories surrounding the Alpha Legion and their Primarchs into a logical story. The way the book is setup and the ending are also a perfect fit for the Alpha Legion. (5/5)
Nothing, he was gladiator.
r/Yellowjackets: Lottie is for sure AQ bc for a brief moment in episode 5 a shot was framed to make it look like she was wearing the antlers mounted on the cabin wall.
also r/Yellowjackets: just bc adam and javi are both artists and after almost every scene of shauna and adam they cut to a shot of young shauna and javi and they show young shauna teaching javi how to journal and young shauna is really the only person besides travis they show having one-on-one interactions with javi and javi carves an animal for young shauna and adam has a carved animal in his apartment and adam has a symbol map of the whole gd forest on his back and adamβs last name is martin and javiβs last name is martinez doesnβt mean adam is javi.
BUZZ BUZZ BUZZ
Time and time again I hear "J. Jonah was perfect/perfectly cast in the Sam Raimi movies!" And this isn't me crapping on J.K. Simmons J. Jonah, he was fantastic. However, people tend to forget that the Daily Bugle had more than one staff person. J. Jonah is great, but much like how Peter's friends and allies complete Spider-Man, the staff of the daily bugle complete J. Jonah.
Case and point: Hoffman. Out of all the people that work at the Daily Bugle, Hoffman is the only one not from the comics. Ironically, he's also the only one in the trilogy to reference a Marvel hero other than Spidey, when he namedrops "Doctor Strange". Hoffman himself is basically a yes-man to Jonah, but he's effective because they bounce off each other so well.
Sam Raimi cast his brother as Hoffman and he just steals the show! The guy's hilarious and does the yes-man role well! There's also Robbie Robertson, who sadly does not get that much screentime in the trilogy. What we do get from him is that he seems to know that Peter is Spidey. This is evident with his line, "I heard Spider-Man was there!" when he was looking at Peter.
Robbie also comes off as supportive of Spider-Man and generally a nice dude, only putting up with Jonah's nonsense because that's his job. Lastly, we have Betty Brandt who is pretty good. Much like Robbie, she doesn't have much screentime but she comes off as a nice and upstanding woman. I love in the third film, where she takes joy in spamming the buzzer to tell Jonah to take his pills.
And really, if you want more proof that they complete J. Jonah, check out this deleted scene from the second film:
J.J. Jameson Wearing Spider-Man Suit - Deleted Scene - Spider-Man 2.1 (2004) Movie Clip HD - YouTube
After Peter quits being Spider-Man for a bit, J. Jonah gets his discarded suit and basically leaps around the room dressed as Spider-Man. Robbie, Hoffman, and Betty all show their distinct personalities and relationships with Jonah without saying a word. Betty is silently laughing her ass off, Robbie's shaking his head and walks off, and Hoffman just stares in utter shock before walking away with the others.
So yes, J. Jonah is great in the Raimi films, but a lot of that comes down to having a great team of characters played by good actors to bounce off of. That's why as much as I LOVED No Way Home, I couldn't get into this AU version of J. Jonah. He lacked the personality and charm of J.K.'s original performanc

Hello all.
Background & Why This Post?
Iβm a 46, male, living in the UK.
Iβve always felt different. Things other people do easily always felt hard and Iβve always struggled with social situations.
Socially especially, nothing ever comes naturally, but Iβve both taught myself to become better at the things Iβm bad at, but also, and I see this less discussed, used the things Iβm good at to excel too.
Over the years, Iβve taught myself to take control of my destiny a bit more.
I view a number of the traits I demonstrate as a "superpower" that I can occasionally use to my advantage.
What I hope I can do here is tell you about how the world feels to me and what I have found works for me.
My motivation is that I read many posts in this reddit and it reminds me of when I was younger & faced similar challenges, challenges, concerns, worries.
In some cases, I've found something that works for me
In some cases, I've had to learn to acknowledge I'm never going to be good at something - but I have at least found a way to make sure the impact of it is minimised.
I've also come to acknowledge and appreciate that everyone has their demons.
People classified as "Neuro Normal" (And I'll come to that in a bit) also all have their weaknesses too - so I generally don't agree with any labelling other than for the purpose of ensuring individuals get the help and support they need
So my goal here is to share
I canβt promise itβll all work for you, or even if any of it will - we are all different.
But if some of the things I say resonate with you and help even a little, then my mission is successful.
About Me
Dad jokes are supposed to be jokes you can tell a kid and they will understand it and find it funny.
This sub is mostly just NSFW puns now.
If it needs a NSFW tag it's not a dad joke. There should just be a NSFW puns subreddit for that.
Edit* I'm not replying any longer and turning off notifications but to all those that say "no one cares", there sure are a lot of you arguing about it. Maybe I'm wrong but you people don't need to be rude about it. If you really don't care, don't comment.
When I got home, they were still there.
I won't be doing that today!
