A list of puns related to "Anatomy Tissue"
Hello! I'm analyzing photos from a lab where I put different tissues under a microscope. I'm having a really hard time differentiating the muscle tissues (pictured below). I think H is smooth muscle, I is skeletal, and J is cardiac. But I'm by no means confident in these answers. Any help?

I'm working on an assignment where we identify tissues we looked at under a microscope a while back. I'm having trouble identifying the one pictured below. I'm torn between saying it's a simple squamous or a stratified cuboidal. Any help?

Hi All new to Reddit, basically - I had always planned to medically transition once I was (by whatever internal barometer that escapes me now) A. financially comfortable and B. established in my career. My health kept getting in the way of those goals and the past few years I've been at the point where I'm like fuck it, gotta do the damn thing (need to get on T). My question is, anyone else here w hypermobility and or Hypermobile Ehlers Danlos Syndrome or Vascular Ehlers Danlos Syndrome or any related connective tissue disorder? I don't feel that any of my current doctors have appropriate background to reasonably posit the risks of long term testosterone therapy w/ these systemic health issues. Idk. Anybody? Advice? Thoughts? Links?
Additionally, has anyone successfully gotten top surgery covered by insurance while Not on T? I feel like even if T isn't a good idea for me health wise long term (namely, vaginal tissue atrophy + my existing pelvic issues from shoddy connective tissue, plus I'm fairly sure a hysto to fix that would just fuck shit up further w how my organs are in wonky positions from the connective tissue not doing its job). ANYWAY. My question. Top surgery in this context. I've heard of people achieving this, but it's always so and so knows so and so who's cousin's uncle's kid's math teacher got it covered, so I'm asking if anyone here knows more about that or has direct experience to share advice.
Tl;Dr anybody w/ gumby body disease have any issues w/ T? anybody been able to get top surgery covered by insurance w/o being on T?
Thanks!!
Hi I have been binding for around 8 years and am not on hormones yet. I am 25 years old. I try and be responsible as possible mostly limit to 8 hours with the occasional 12+ hour day. I noticed a soreness in one of my breasts last week and have been not binding since. I also noticed that side is like twice the size of the other one and feels warner to the point I can feel the difference through a sports bra and a t-shirt! IDK if its been like that or if its new because I avoid looking as much as possible due to dysmorphia. I googled it and everything said breast cancer. I am freaking out. Anyone ever have this happen??? I really don't want to go get it checked out because 1. I am in America so it would be expensive and 2. the dysmorphia thing.
Edit: I told a close friend of mine what's up. He is going to get on me to make sure I make an appointment
Our 3rd quiz is coming up and Iβm starting to panic because I am not absorbing this information as quickly as the others. Iβve been using Quizlet and reviewing notes. Anyone have sayings, drawings, websites, songs, mnemonic devices, etc.?
I mean is fontanelle an empty space or another term used for wide fibrous connective tissue found in infants? Seems unclear on a Google search.
Whatβs the difference between afab breast tissue and flat chested cis male breast tissue? I tried googling it and couldnβt find the answer. Is it 100% the same after surgery pre t or is it still different?
Googled it and got lost in google.
I am looking for a chart of every place in the human body, what tissue type it is, what its function is in that locale and bonus if there is a picture of that type of tissue. Its gotta be out there someplace. TIA
Here is the assignment he told us to do.
Person severely injured her knee chasing her boyfriend through the woods. After visiting the doctor, she was informed that she had torn knee cartilage and had also tore a medial knee ligament. The doctor's told her to expect that recovery and repair would take a long time.
Identify the type of cartilage that was torn and the type of tissue in the ligament that was injured. Explain why recovery would take so long from this type of injury.
Finally tell Person to stop chasing boys. Write your answer in essay form, be specific and exact in your tissue terminology.
