I'm looking at a Trade Dollar for sale in an ANACS slab and all it says is ANACS-AUTHENTIC (picture here).
I assume this means that they authenticated the coin is real but were not willing to assign a grade for some reason? The coin itself doesn't look bad, it's maybe somewhere between VG+ and F- and I don't see any obvious damage beyond maybe an old cleaning. Why wouldn't it at least have a details grade?
I looked up the cert # on the ANACS website and it comes up. In the grade field it says "MS CERTIFIED" and the Superlative field says "None".
