I recently started to get more serious into investing for my retirement. Some background info about myself is that I am 27 years old, no student loans 13k car payment, single, and make 100K USD a year. My employer has a 3% full match and the next 2% would only be a half match. Doing so I opened a ROTH IRA and started to create my 3 fund portfolio. My question is now, how much of my salary a month should I allocate to my ROTH IRA?

I've joined a number of Discord servers and usually mga nasa Gen Z age group ang mga tao so I feel that na hindi ako maka-relate sa mga jokes, topics, and rants nila.

And most of the people in this subreddit are within the Gen Z age range.

So I was thinking of creating a Discord Server for a handful of us na hindi belong sa Gen Z but still want to be a part of a community and meet new people within our age range.

I got super excited when I found this because its been hard for me finding the density for every FA flavour I own, I know /u/tet5uo shared a table of a bunch of flavours from them a while ago, which I had been using up until now, but many are missing from that table unfortunately. No longer! I cant be certain but this pdf seems to contain most if not all of their flavours! Awesome!

So, like quite a few people I’m between jobs(currently trying my best to find one!) and I’ve been struggling. I barely can eat let alone afford things like basic hygiene and I decided to vent this to my friend.

This friend I’ve known for about 3 years and dated briefly in the past so I thought I’d be okay venting to him. He then proceeded to tell me that he would help me if I gave him “pictures and videos” if you guys know what I mean.

As soon as I read that, my tummy started hurting and I’ve felt nauseous since. He seems upset that I felt disrespected by it and now isn’t talking to me. Am I not wrong in thinking that that’s a gross thing to do? Can I find some friends who are actually cool and not creepy. Preferably people who like stardew and ac and writing and stuff. I’m just bummed out by him :(

I need to reduce how much is in most of these reports because of how much time they take - I'll do full ones on Friday when more information like the First Nations data is released.

Like the title says I am a 27 year old male who's never been with a girl before. I messed up so badly in community college in my early late teens and early 20's that now I am now trying to play catch up. Right now I am at a university dorm, I have no car because I was born in a poor family and before I came to the university all the money from my previous job went into the house bills so I have no money to pay for a car.

Right now I work as a dishwasher at a restaurant and I see alot of girls that I am interested in but as soon as I learn how young they are I am immediately turned off most or all of them are 18-20 there are no girls around my age there and it really gets me down at how much time I wasted. Most girls at my age are most likely working in a job revolving their career and it makes me feel like sh*t. It makes me feel like sh*t because at this point I am supposed to be working on my career instead I am just a 27 year old f*ck up who f*cked up in school because he'd rather f*ck around in his earlier years.

It's starting to occur to me just how toxic Facebook can be...

I used to constantly have my posts liked and commented on left and right. Then my mom joined Facebook. I recently discovered she did a smear campaign against me (on Facebook) to all her friends. Over the years very few people ever believed my stories of how I was treated growing up, and I admittedly used to have a bad habit of defending myself publicly on Facebook (usually while intoxicated).

Lately my posts almost get virtually no recognition....talking zero reactions, zero comments. Even positive posts. Posts of my toddler (those usually tend to get more attention than others, but not as much as they used to before my mom's smear campaign).

I can't help but wonder if our mutual friends stopped following me (i.e. turned off notifications for my posts). Meanwhile my mom posts these fake "happy family" posts all the time and gets hundreds of likes and comments. A few times in the past I've had to tag her in my posts just to get some attention.

I've always been so starved for attention (especially against the golden child) I ended up creating an alternate Facebook account in which I have over 1500 friends (most of which I don't know personally). I hate it because the majority of these "friends" are just miscellaneous perves that like to send inappropriate pics or messages or try to video chat me several times a day, and if I ignore they start bombarding me. But I get hundreds of likes on my posts there, and I enjoy the attention...as shallow as that sounds (and for the record I don't have personal info on that alternate account, i.e. my last name. And I don't have any pictures of my toddler for her safety).

I feel like this isn't a healthy mindset to be in and will likely be talking to my therapist about it.

Anyone else feel this way or have gone through something similar?
