Moscow or Moscow Oblast for living?
Hey guys!
My wife (Russian) and me (Belgium) are looking whether it's a good idea to move to Moscow Oblast in the near future. ΠΡΡΠΈΜΡΠΈ and Π₯ΠΈΠΌΠΊΠΈ caught our interest.
I was wondering if any of you guys have any experience living in these areas as it's outside of the big city of Moscow.
Right now we are living in (ΠΠ»ΡΡΡΡΠ΅Π²ΠΎ). So it's not that far from both ΠΡΡΠΈΜΡΠΈ and Π₯ΠΈΠΌΠΊΠΈ I'd say.
We want to get a family mortgage, so obviously cheaper and bigger flats are a big plus. The monthly payment for a flat in a new building in, say, ΠΡΡΠ°ΜΠ΄Π½ΠΎΠ΅ (Moscow) is 50% more expensive compared to a flat in a new building in ΠΡΡΠΈΜΡΠΈ or Π₯ΠΈΠΌΠΊΠΈ. Is that worth it, though? How is the infrastructure in such areas? Are there any big differences in these areas compared to living in Moscow (or ΠΠ»ΡΡΡΡΠ΅Π²ΠΎ)?

What is the official car of your state, province, or whatever name your country has for its first-level administrative divisions?
In my case:
- Current home (Masovian Voivodeship, Poland) - BMW 3-Series.
BMW is apparently the most popular brand in the voivodeship, and the 3-Series' wide price range beautifully encompasses the economic disparity. In the capital, Warsaw, you have the leased G20s driven by corporate go-getters, but there are also the numerous used import E46s in the hands of less fortunate people outside the capital city (or just less fortunate inside it).
- Where I grew up (Lublin Voivodeship, Poland) - Audi 80.
In southeastern Poland it's Audi that rules the roads, and nothing matches the least economically productive region like the cheapest way to put the four rings on your driveway. Hey, it's been working for 29 years, so you can buy it and hope you'll get to 30!
