A halberd is a two-handed pole weapon that came to prominent use during the 14th and 15th centuries. The word halberd is most likely equivalent to the German word Hellebarde, deriving from Middle High German halm and barte joint to helmbarte. Troops that used the weapon are called halberdiers.

Bun B is currently on IG Live with a woman who just called him the n word
See title. White lady's been honking her horn at him and recording him from her car the whole video. Prof claims that she called him and his wife a "stupid n***er". Threatened to shoot them apparently too. They were just in line to get Whataburger.
Edit1: Police just arrived on scene. Bun B just explained that they were waiting in line at Whataburger, lady wanted them to move their car, got out and threatened to shoot his wife and called her the n word.
Edit2: Bun B casually dropping he got a million followers on IG to the cops. This is what MLK wanted.
Edit3: 2nd IG live shows them finding the same lady at Walgreens. Queenie's first response: "Surpriiiise remember me?" XD

AITA for reporting a colleague to HR after she called me the n-word while in a stressful situation
Throwaway because one of my colleagues knows my reddit. Sorry for language mistakes Iβm from Finland.
Obviously the title makes me look like NTA but a couple of my colleagues (who are aware of the situation because very few people are) have come up to me by text to tell me Iβm TA.
So this happened on Friday morning. I work at a very large marketing company. We work in teams of 4 where we receive tasks to come up with ideas on how to advertise for client companies. A task usually takes 4-6 months then the group is dismantled and we are put in another group of 4. As you can imagine, just like in high school, thereβs only one group leader, one who does the work, one who watches YouTube all day and one who never shows.
I see myself as the group leader and one of my coworkers Eva is the one who does a lot of the work and loved doing it. This system was put in place to boost our creativity and has helped me connect with a lot of people of and make friends in a city where I knew no one 2 years ago. Currently, we are approaching the end of our project with my team so it is stressful for all of us. We have to present in two weeks and we are far from finished with our presentation. Itβs closer to looking like the template than the finished work. So we separated the work into 4 parts. Each person having about 2 sections to do. I got the last part which coincidentally falls after Evaβs (fake name) part.
Now Eva and I have never been friends because we just donβt connect and we probably never will be after that but we have only had small disagreements, never actually fought.
Anyways. Fast forward to Friday morning, I asked a colleague if he could send me the first version of the presentation so that I could update it with the work I had just finished. He told me that Eva had it but that she took the day off because one of her parents had passed away. I decided to give her a call anyways because the presentation is very urgent. I was only able to get a "hey EvaΒ I know youβre sick I was wondering if you could send me-" before she cut me off and saidΒ "My mother just passed away do you really think Iβm gonna deal with this bullshit right now you stupid n-word" before hanging up violently.
I was rather shocked by her tone and not at all pleased with the last word she had used. Iβm white and sheβs black, but that is still completely out of line. If she had simply said "you stupid bitch" or "you dumbfuck". I would have understood but I feel like this took a racis

AITA for being livid that my (33m) fiancΓ©e (29f) invited a mutual (ex-) friend to her (my fiancΓ©eβs) birthday get together who called me the N-Word and was verbally abusive?
Update: I am breaking up with and cutting my βfiancΓ©eβ out of my life. Based on this and another post I posted under this throwaway, I realize that I am in a relationship with a volatile, toxic person who is on the NPD spectrum. I knew this all along. Not gonna lie. It took me 9 years (and input from all of you guys; seriously; thank you....sometimes itβs hard to see the forest for the trees) to finally be honest with myself without guilt or shame and realize just how emotionally abusive of a situation I am in.
Thank you all for your input. I am ready to move on with my life and your comments have helped cement and confirm what I knew, yet denied, the whole time.
Original post:
Title pretty much says it all. A female friend went off on me over something trivial and called me all kinds of names, including the N-Word.
If the roles were reversed and some guy friend of ours called my fiancΓ©e that and was that cruel and hateful towards her, just short of a knuckle sammitch, that asshole wouldnβt be invited to any event ever again.
I am pissed because it will be an uncomfortable night. I am going because itβs my fiancΓ©eβs birthday party and she invited her. Her stance is that β[she] doesnβt want to be caught between the two and itβs our drama.β
Even tho itβs her birthday and she is free to invite anyone she wants to, I think this is incredibly selfish.
Am I being too much of an asshole and need to respect her decision, suck it up and try to ignore this person or do I have the right to be irritated?

Calling all tricksters, lawyers and others who enjoy twisting words to mess with a sentient weapon!
Friends of DM Academy, you've helped me greatly before and I come here again to seek help crafting something for my players.
There once was a sentient weapon, which has pledged itself to slaying an evil overlord. Having been subject to the weapon's machinations and attempts before, the overlord has found a way to exploit one of the weapon's defining traits: it is bound to the letter of agreements made in good faith - as is he, for plot reasons.
The weapon was last used to slay a young woman at the exact moment she was turning into a vampire to preserve her soul, but in doing so, the weapon was rendered powerless until now, when the player characters cracked open the tomb. This was neither the first human life it took, nor the first vampire or vampirespawn it felled.
What I am stuck at now is figuring out what kind of ruleslawyering has happened so the weapon was not simply able to break out of the tomb itself. What tricky phrase, sentence or wording would trap it alongside that woman's body? And what condition could the players unknowingly have triggered for it to be free and able to resume its purpose now?
EDIT #1: The woman's soul has passed on safely and peacefully, and has in fact reincarnated a couple of times since.

Our rouge called a banshee the b-word.
Some backstory: We were playing the D&D 5e starter (Lost Mine of Phandalin) set with some friends. We played this story a little bit before a 2 month break. The rogue was obviously trying to derail the campaign. He kept breaking off from the party, killing people we spared, kept on cursing at the other players, and kept setting things on fire. He almost got kill (I believe he should've died) from wandering into a magic maze. We put a magic ring on him to force him to restrain his inner chaotic evil and to listen to the party, but there was obvious resistance. He kept asking for us to remove his ring, but we didn't comply, mostly because it wasn't effecting the core game.
We finally got to play again recently. We spoke to a necromancer who was excavating a tower ruins. He asked us is if we could talk to a banshee that knew the name of the person who built a tower he was excavating. We already had an encounter with the banshee he was talking about, but she could only answer us one question and we already asked a question.
We went back to where we spoke to the banshee to see if we could speak to her again. The DM told us she was gone. The rogue wanted to investigate to see where she went, and he rolled a nat 20. The DM informed the rogue that he knows that there's no way to find where the banshee went. He got angry and wanted to search a bunch of other spots around the area. The DM nicely told him that there's nothing there and that we should leave already.
The rouge, in spite, said "I call the banshee a b####". The DM, done with putting up with the rogue's attitude, told us that the banshee came back and killed the rogue. The DM then started to dig for another character sheet. We were all in shock at first, because he already cheated death three times before, then everyone other than the rogue started to laugh when we realized it was actually happening. After a few encounters with his new character, he left.
The DM described his situation like a monkey's paw; he wanted the ring off, which now it is, and he wanted the banshee to come back, which she did. It just wasn't the way he wanted.
Edit: Fixing spelling.
