So, as probably all of you did, yesterday I kept refreshing the leaks subreddit waiting for Yae's kit to come out and when it finally did I basically died of joy. But this is not the point lol

Since the previous leaks in the past few months we were all expecting Yae to be an on-field dps based on NA and CA with pretty high scaling, and maybe even with a burst which would then boost her NA/CA. But this is actually not the case. Instead, we got a sort of off-field/burst dps, with high scaling on both skill and burst.

If we were to use Yae's Burst consuming three Fox Totems, the scaling would be (at talent lv10) 468%+528%+528%+528% which equals around 2000%, bringing Yae's Burst to the highest scaling in the game so far. I've heard people saying it's impossible to put all three Totems and then consume all of them with the Burst, but this is wrong: Yae's Skill has three charges, just like Sucrose or Xiao, so you can actually summon all three Totems one after another.

The Totems themselves also have good scaling, especially when you summon all three, since the scaling increases. We should consider an important aspect of these Totems: unlike Oz or Raiden's Skill, they are three, and each of them works indipendently. This means that the LV3 Scaling (170% at talent lv10) is actually tripled.
As of now, I think that one of the main issues in Yae's Kit is the high difficulty in maintaining three Totems most of the time, especially without C2. Thankfully, her first Passive Talent comes in handy.

- Hitting opponents with Elemental Skill DMG decreases it by 1s and can occur once every 1.8s
- Hitting opponents with Elemental Burst DMG decreases it by 1s and can occur once every 1.8s

This means that characters with Skill and/or Burst that triggers when the character is off-field will in fact decrease the Totems' CD. Also, Skill and Burst are considered indipendently, which means that we can easily decrease the CD with deployable Skill/Burst at the same time - like Xiangling's Burst and Kazuha's Burst for example, and Raiden's Skill. The thing we don't know yet is if multiple active Skill and Burst will proc this passive (for example, if both Xiangling's Burst and Kazuha's Burst will decrease the CD or only one of them, since they are both Elemental Burst DMG), but this is not important at the moment.

I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.

Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.
