Wingless Angels Puns

Anyone else read this? I thought it was a fabulous read with a truly original imagining of Hell. Definitely set up for a sequel or series, though this is pretty much a self contained novel.

With each step the lingering possibility
Of it disintegrating beneath her feet
White fluff to nothing

Without her tethered, the world would cease to function within weeks.

This is going to be long and typed on a phone so I apologize in advance for any grammar errors. This is something I normally don't talk about but I am curious if anyone else has had similar experiences. (edited because I found out how to do line breaks)

When I was a young child I use to claim to see "wingless angels" in lights. I would spend hours starring at the bathroom or bedroom lights just listening and sometimes reaching for them. It was to the point where my parents thought it was an over creative group of imaginary friends (I was never the type to make friends easily so they weren't phased by my hours wanted talking to the ceiling lights).

All was normal until one day my mom came to the bathroom to tell me we had to go to the car and I started screaming about how we can't go. I kept repeating don't do it, we can't go, big brothers in danger. But eventually my dad came in picked me up and put me in the car. We lived in a small town and had to drive 2 hours to get to the city to bring my mom into the hospital because she was pregnant and was close to due.

Me and my younger siblings stayed with relatives in the city so we could see the new addition to the family right away, and my older two siblings were in school so they went home.

A few days later on the phone with my big brother I told him that the angels were talking about him lots and that I would miss him. He laughed and said he would see me soon and I told him that he wouldn't see me but I would see him again.

That night my mom went into labour and phoned my dad demanding he bring my older siblings with him when he wanted to leave them at home with our other relatives. There was a car accident caused by teenagers who were doing drugs and my older brother died.

After this I had two more incidents, this time I was a lot more demanding. The first time I locked myself in the bathroom and refused to leave the house, 10 minutes later I came out and said we can go now. There was a run red light that lead to a pile up where we would have been if we left.

The second incident I had kept crying to go pee and getting my parents to pull over, I would walk around, waste 5 minutes, and say not this bush let's fund another one. Eventually down the highway we ended up seeing a disastrous sight, two semis had crashed and multiple vehicles around them were hit. We could have been in that accident.

Both times I insisted I heard the "wingless angels" talking about it. To this day

They're much worse. I get the shakes typing about them. Not like they can read. But what they tell me so much. So many bad things.

Every single time I sleep.

They won't let me forget, I didn't do my job. Those beasts...

Yes, as simple as we are, they still have use for us. Well, some of them. Nineteen for me, hundreds for one of my friends, many people I meet have some, and don't even know. A few lucky ones get ignored. Oh, Gosh, I hope they never find out.

There's a reason they're so angry with me. My job. I was supposed to give them each faces. And I did. For four, or nine, or less. More? I can't remember. Not like i'd want to.

I can see them sometimes. Sometimes. But I know what they smell like, but, unfortunately that goes both ways.

But more importantly, those voices, your "conscience", new imaginary friends,your demons, anything that seems like it just comes from your head... It doesn't. They partly exist. Don't make the same mistake I did. Don't let them fully exist. Don't name any of them.

Do NOT EVER give them a face. In your mind is one thing. But don't draw or sculpt it. No matter how much of a favor it seems.

All I can smell now is oranges and wood bark. Sounds like boiling water, when his bodies come near.

Lina, The wingless Angel

Lina is a support champion with a dual theme; her abilities affect enemies and allies. It’s good to know how to choose which ability to use at the right time. Knowing how to utilize you passive and choosing what to use is important to play Lina to the fullest. Please keep in mind english is not my first language so there's gotta be some grammar crimes in there.

Lore:

When Lina came to Valoran from a world at war, she was amazed of the peace that was achieved because of the League of Legends. Using her powers, she could heal the people and she was happy doing so. One day, a band of bandits came to her, asking her to help them in a battle using her healing. She denied, saying she wouldn’t support violence, but the chief wouldn’t take no for an answer, he went berserk, and with the help of the others they tore her wings apart, ripping them off her body. The pain was unbearable, but within it, she found new powers, and enraged, she raised and killed all the bandits with her magic. Horrorized by what she did, she cried for days and didn’t know what to do, finally, she thought about the league, and how it maintained peace in Valoran. So she parted towards it, hoping that it could help her maintain peace within herself.

Looks: Lina is a small woman with bright white hair and blue dress, her eyes are yellow and her skin is pale. HEr dress seems broken (i know this is not the right word lol, i dont know how to traslate).

Abilities:

Passive: Dual Force

Affecting allies with your abilities help Lina remain clamed, granting her 12% Cdr. Affecting enemies makes your rage grow stronger, granting you 20% increased damage on abilities.

Lina model changes to reflect each state, when calmed, she has a white aura around her, when enraged, there’s black particles surrounding her hands. There’s a thin line bellow your mana that is divided in black/white, if the white side is larger you are calmed, otherwise you are enraged.

Q: Focus Energy Lina focuses her power on an ally or an enemy.

• On ally Cast: Allied champion is shielded for 60/100/140/180/220 (.4 Ap ratio), if the shield doesn’t break, the champion gains 15% bonus movement speed.

• On enemy Cast: an enemy champion is dealt 50/90/130/170/210 (.6 ap ratio) and are slowed for 10/12/14/16/18 % for 3 seconds.

• Mana cost: 60/80/100/120/140

• Cooldown: 13/12/11/10/9 seconds
