If there was a collection based on your life, what would the scents be?

I am snowed-in and bored. If there was a collection based on your life, what would be in it? Things like, what scents would represent different phases in your life, your personal style, places you've lived, specific memories, etc.. They can be already existing perfumes or just make something up.

I'm clearly thinking of smells, but if you're not into that, what colors would be in a you-themed eyeshadow palette?

This was inspired by long-ago discussion posts like, "if your hometown was a perfume, what would it smell like" or "imagine your favorite people were scents".

My phone has a barometer which can tell me the pressure of the surrounding air. What can I infer from this information? Can it give me some information I can use in day to day life?

So I just got a phone and it happens to have a barometer in it.

My current app shows my surrounding air pressure as 1014 hPa, what does this mean to me? Can I use this information in my day to day life?

I tried googling but it wasn't very helpful.

Can you explain what this means for me?

>Edit: so I read all of your responses and they were pretty helpful. I tried jumping up and down lifting my phone in the air and even going down an elevator. It was fun seeing the pressure change. Thanks to everyone who helped me learn and discover something new.

So you guys know of any other fun stuff I can do with sensors on my phone.

Here’s a list of the sensors, tell me if any fun is possible and I will definitely try it.

Gravity Sensor

Ambient Light Sensor

Proximity Sensor

Gyroscope

Compass

In-Screen Fingerprint Sensor

Hall sensor

laser sensor

Barometer

Infrared sensor

colour temperature sensor

>Edit2: I realised that people would be interested in seeing how I can see my pressure so I have taken a screenshot. link

>Edit3: A lot of people have been asking me what phone this is. I am using a Huawei mate 20 Pro.

I wanted to reply to specific comments but for some reason I am not able to see them. I see your notifications but when I go to answer them, it shows empty. Probably a weird reddit glitch or something but it's pretty annoying as I don't get to read all of your comments.

APPRECIATION: "Be all of it, or be none of it." Martha doing what a good mother should -- putting the mental and emotional welfare of her only child before everything else, and reminding him that he *does* have a choice in life.

What I love about Snyder's take on Superman is he keeps rebounding from the knocks he takes. He always decides to stand his ground and come back, to keep fighting. It is through this choice that character is revealed. Martha isn't telling him to hang up the cape and let the world burn, but she's expressing a very human and very genuine fear and selfishness where her boy is concerned. She's not coercing him into bearing the burden because of some cosmic obligation. Every parent ought to strive to give their children one of the greatest gifts of life: the freedom to choose.

Say what you will about Cavill's stoic Superman, but his emoting is on point here. You can tell none of what Martha is saying is sitting right with him. He doesn't want to be a god, but he doesn't want to abandon the world, either. The conflict is written all over his face. I dig it.

[Vorkunov] Kyrie Irving: "Basketball, this life, it's an illusion in terms of certain material things that mean a lot more...based upon what you've accomplished or how successful you are or how people perceive you. In actuality, it really doesn't mean anything..."

Original tweet

>"Basketball has been a vehicle that's driven me for a long time. But I think that the importance of my life outside of that has been something that I've been paying attention to a lot more. Basketball, this life, it's an illusion in terms of certain material things that mean a lot more - I mean like, going after success or accomplishments in this league has been predicated on so many things that you're here" - Irving raises his arms shoulder high - "based upon what you've accomplished or how successful you are or how people perceive you. In actuality, it really doesn't mean anything. It doesn't really get me up in the morning every single day to want to meditate, to want to read, to want to do things that fulfill my life."

> And he goes on: "I thought it was interesting in 'The Alchemist' how he was looking for the alchemist but the alchemist found him. Found him in the middle of the desert with this and it's just like, 'I can't believe I just met him,' and in doing so sometimes meeting certain individuals, they embody so much of that wisdom that they want to impart on you. Naturally, sometimes the ego or naturally my personality will get in the way, of pushing people away rather than bringing them closer and learning more about them."
