A list of puns related to "Undercover Billionaire"
Not sure if there are any Cardone fans left on this sub, but if you're still faithful to your prophet I highly recommend you watch Discovery channel's show Undercover Billionaire, where he makes a bet that he can make $1 million in 90 days without his name.
During this show, Grant violates all his principles, spending most of his time lazing around the house and bitching at the camera crew. There are some days he doesn't do any work at all. Despite being a self-proclaimed master of sales, Grant doesn't get a single client from cold calling. His real estate deal falls apart too - without his name, he isn't able to recruit a single investor into a scheme to renovate an apartment. He is completely cringeworthy to watch on screen - without a scripted, staged environment like the one in all his fake "cold call" videos, it's very clear his sales technique doesn't work.
Posting this as someone who followed Cardone back in college. Even though years in software sales has revealed to me that almost everything he preaches is ineffective, I still believed that he was individually a good salesman and a hardworking person. He isn't either.
Please consider this before you buy any GC products.
I JUST STILL COULDN"T COMPREHEND HOW ON EARTH GRANT CARDONE WAS "ABLE" TO "BUILD" A $5.5 MILLION BUSINESS IN 90 DAYS? How did the evaluator came up with such a ridiculous numbers. Is the show a deception?
So I donβt know if anyone on this subreddit has been watching Undercover Billionaire, itβs a series on Discovery+ feel free to Google what itβs about, but Pueblo is specifically featured with one of the contestants, Grant Cardone aka Louis Curtis. In the show heβs tasked with starting a million dollar business in 90 days.
And I just had to make this post because this guy is so sleezy. He claims to have a background in realty but apparently his main stick with that is convincing a bunch of Instagram followers to βinvest.β In fact he was actually sued for this: https://therealdeal.com/miami/2020/09/30/lawsuit-seeking-class-action-status-accuses-grant-cardone-of-misleading-investors/amp/
Not only that but he apparently has some shady ties to Scientology: https://tonyortega.org/2019/01/14/is-there-something-screwy-about-scientology-buffoon-grant-cardone/
Lots of interview videos listed in an answer here, he isnβt one to hide his Scientology beliefs: https://www.quora.com/Is-Grant-Cardone-a-Scientologist
Heβs also got in hot water for saying sexist remarks as a guest speaker: https://www.nbcboston.com/news/local/software-company-apologizes-after-conference-guests-sexist-remark/135894/?amp

I mean this guy is sleazy car salesman as a walking human. His social media marketing company @wakeuppueblo is constantly trying to pump stuff out on Instagram although without receiving many likes or comments. Iβm not sure if the show will give him a million dollar business evaluation just for show/the story, but they are clearing trying to underpay locals and local college grads to create content, not generate much income for the businesses they are βadvertisingβ for, and they are making it seem like their service will do better than βstandardβ Google/placement ads. He specifically talks about it on the show but those ads are expensive because they work (if I Google best bars in Pueblo, the top sponsored ad may draw my eye. Not some post on Instagram that got 3 likes and one comment from wakeuppueblo themselves.)
I just wanted to write this out to hopefully draw some light on this guy, and how I personally feel he is quite a detriment to Pueblo as a whole. He isnβt trying to make this community better at all, and while I have no proof I would bet he severely underpays his staff with the excuse of it being an opportunity to break into the market. There is a huge difference in be
... keep reading on reddit β‘The title says it all. Undercover Billionaire TV-shows are ridiculous. Yes, the main character may very well be a successful entrepreneur, but them "showing how it's done in just a couple of weeks" is inconsiderate of those who struggle to make the ends meet.
They make billionaires look like amazing people who are way smarter, willing to take more risk and work a lot harder than the average person. In reality it's just a guy with a whole team behind him who has nothing to loose and nothing to worry about if he fails.
Dont get me wrong, I love the show. There are many good things to learn from it, but I think it undermines the fact that humans make decisions based on the surroundings/scenario. People are going to be much more likely to say yes when there is a camera crew around and a sketchy stranger is asking for money. You take the cameras away in these situations and the whole game changes
They arent just noticing cameras, they are signing papers and everything to be presented on film.
Sat down last night hoping to watch the latest episode of Undercover Billionaire and found nothing recorded. Last I've seen is S2 E7 - Turning Points. Anyone else here in Canada seeing newer episodes? I need to see these dumpster fire, staged events.
Hi everyone I'm an italian watching Undercover Billionaire and have a couple of questions for all of you who live in the US:
1- If a business owner agree for you to work for them for a day can you just show up, work and get paid? Is that legal? Don't they need to file any paperwork, pay any taxes on your behalf or anything like that? I ask because in Italy it is illegal to work without any kind of contract and paying taxes on the pay.
2- If I own a car can I just sell it for a $ 2k on the sidewalk to someone who agrees to buy it on the spot without any kind of paperwork? Is that legal? In Italy it isn't because a car is an asset registered to an owner and to trasfer it's property that's some forms to fill in and a tax to pay. Nothing hard or expensive but you can't legally just take the money and give the keys of your car.
I'm 99% sure that both things are illegal if done in the way the show is portraying them and if they are then the quality of the show is really inexistent.
A lie: You've been told your entire life that you live in a fair country where you can make a lot of money if you work hard.
But the poor already do all the work on the fuckin planet. Because they have to.
this shity show trying to impose that the poor are lazy and stupid thats why they are poor.
Have you ever heard of the term income injustice?
You have a job that makes a gross $40,000 to $50,000 a year. You live comfortably, but you don't have a shred of savings. While your European counterparts work 35 hours a week and take 4-5 weeks a year, the magic figure for you is 50: 50 hours a week, 50 weeks of work a year. That's because you're senior. When you're thinking about your kids' future college costs, you're still paying off your own college loan. You have health insurance, but it doesn't cover much thing, so every time you're in business with a doctor, you leave the wallet there and come back. You have a house, but with a surprise bill of only $500, you're officially going bankrupt.
Next you see, disney's CEO just won a $130 million "golden parachute" after 11 months of work. Merrill Lynch is making crazy payments to its CEO, with a record loss of almost $3 billion in just one quarter. Wall Street companies are handing out billions of dollars in "performance bonuses" to the architects of the disaster after the second-largest depression in history. And the president of the country is a wealthy real estate billionaire.
and you think you can be like them with a 100 bucks in your pocket? go fuck yourself undercover pig!
Its not on my list in seren or venom, even in unaired. trakt doesn't seem to show an episode 3 either, but it aired the 20th.
This isn't the first show this has happened to, and its become annoying -- what's the solution?
So I seen it was supposed to re schedule the airing due to the inauguration 2 weeks back and it said the new air date was 1/27. But it did not air last night on live TV. But it looks like it did broadcast on discovery+. Am I crazy or did this actually not air on live TV? If so, do we know if it will be airing any time soon?

>This is absolutely outrageous, these are mainstream sentiments that we need MORE of, not less, in the mainstream media.
>From ABC News: βDavid Wright has been suspended, and to avoid any possible appearance of bias, he will be reassigned away from political coverage when he returns.β
>I guess mainstream journalists canβt have private political views if they happen to dovetail with Bernieβs.
