A list of puns related to "Umma (upcoming film)"
https://www.cnbc.com/2021/04/08/netflix-strikes-deal-for-streaming-rights-to-sony-films.html
Netflix has struck a deal for the streaming rights to Sony films.
The deal, which was announced Thursday, includes films such as "Morbius," "Uncharted" and "Bullet Train."
Netflix will also be able to place films such as "Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse" and future Venom and other Spider-Man films on its platform.
This deal could further strengthen Netflix streaming leader position. Netflix earning is coming and it is important to see what subscriber guidance company going to give due to the ongoing economy reopen. People start going out and consume less streaming, but on the other hand, Netflix is growing strong on the international market. It will be interesting to see if Netflix can beats subscriber # and defend the competition from Disney plus.
Thanks for the awards.
Hi Reddit, William Brent Bell here to talk about my latest film SEPARATION, in theaters Friday April, 30th.
ABOUT SEPARATION, FROM OPEN ROAD FILMS AND BRIARCLIFF ENTERTAINMENT 8-year-old Jenny (Violet McGraw) is constantly caught in the middle of the feuding between her lawyer mother Maggie (Mamie Gummer) and artist father Jeff (Rupert Friend). She leads a lonely but imaginative life, surrounded by puppets called βGrisly Kinβ, which are based on the works of her father. When Maggie is tragically killed in a hit-and-run, Jeff and Jenny try to piece together a new life. But when Maggieβs father (Brian Cox) sues for custody, and babysitter Samantha (Madeline Brewer) tries to be the new woman of the house, life in their Brooklyn townhome takes a dark turn. The puppets and frightening characters come to life and Jenny is the only person who can see them. When the motives of the ghoulish creatures become clear, the lives of everyone are put very much in jeopardy.

I feel like many films are being released this year. Whether they have been waiting for people to be able to head back to the movies or if they just finished production - it feels like many movies are coming our way. What films are you excited for in the upcoming months/year and do you think youβll see it in the theatre?
Satoshi Takabatake just tweeted that apparently Miyazaki has finished the storyboard for his upcoming film "How Do You Live?". Veteran animator Toshiyuki Inoue also tweeted that he has completed his portion of animation for the film last year.

Been waiting over a year for their potential reopening after they shut down start of covid. Loved this place so much π. At one point one of their employees said they were gonna move locations but over a year has passed.
It's absolutely clear that a next film in the highly appreciated franchise is already in early development. But, not once SAW: SPIRAL arrives soon at worldwide theatres, we know just some scenes/sequences from the ninth film. I'm questioning what kinda film the tenth installment would be. So, despite all that, my question to y'all: what would be your favorite title/name of the upcoming tenth SAW (just dare to list some)? I am excited reading your creative ideas!
In the early 2010s, I worked for a local film promotions + publicity agency in my city. As a part of this job, I would schedule and help run all sorts of early screenings of films (test, critic, promotional, etc.).
In 2013 I worked a critic screening of Don Jon. It was scheduled to be just a critic screening, but at almost the last minute the studio asked that the screening also be partially filled with movie goers, as they believed it would play better for critics with a somewhat full auditorium (this was not uncommon). Some movie goer passes were given away pre-screening (via like social media), but we still had a decent amount of seats we wanted to fill.
In these situations, we often approach and ask general movie goers that are at the theatre to see if they want to see a free early screening of a film. βHey, weβre doing an early screening of the new JGL/ScarJo film Don Jon - would you be interested in attending? Itβs free.β Itβs often a fun and exciting opportunity for those who are just going to the theatre to βsee a movie.β
For Don Jon, we ended up recruiting one particular younger couple (early 20s?) who after a short deliberation between the two, decided they would like to see Don Jon. I know nothing about this couple, but from their body language and interaction, I would gauge this was a fairly early date/outing in their relationship.
Itβs time for the screening. Lights go down. Movie starts. Not 20 minutes into JGL doing his βDon Jonβ things, the couple is outtie. It was the fastest Iβve ever seen a couple leave a theatre.
I like to think this couple ended up happily ever after, and this is a fond story they reminisce on. βHey hun, remember that time we went to go see Weβre the Millers and ended up seeing that weird fitness-porn movie with JGL? Oh the times!β I prefer this outcome over this being their last outing as a couple and me being somewhat responsible.
This is what I think of when I think of Don Jon.
