A list of puns related to "Trumpeter (pigeon)"
Fancy trumpeter pigeon (feathered feet) has been squatting in my garden for a week now, night and day. It is constantly trying to get in through any open window or door and is shitting all around the place now. We tried scaring him away with the water hose and all, but it keeps coming back and is scared of absolutely nothing. He is even starting to annoy the dog in the garden. It is driving me absolutely crazy. Any ideas?
So Pigeon Forge, Tennessee (US), is a HUGE tourist trap. Weβre talking zip lines, roller coasters, Ripleyβs Believe it or Not museum, Ferris wheels, life sized King Kong, etc. Anywhoo, I was driving the family through this insanity when my wife pointed out a building to the kids and said βlook at that one with all the giraffes on top! I wonder what that is!β Without missing a beat I said, βWelcome, to Giraffic Park!β And hummed the theme song while navigating through a left hand turn. I was proud and laughed out loud at my own joke. My 7 year old loved it.
Hi all! I got a good deal on a 1/200 USS Yorktown kit by Trumpeter. I was just wondering, how different is this kit from the Trumpeter 1/200 USS Enterprise? Are they basically the same kit? What are the difference in the actual ships? Iβm assuming there are a few at least. Could i build this Yorktown kit as the Enterprise relatively easily? Or would there be a lot of conversion work involved? Thanks!
Hi all. I have a quick question if you can help.
In France a company has just started a Titanic weekly kit at 1/200 scale but im begin to see people saying that its not vey accurate. (You need to repaint bits etc.) For a kit that is normaly finished i think its a shame .
Then i saw someone mention the Trumpeter kit. Now i know this is a real model kit, all needs to be painted and glued together ( thats the fun if you ask me). what do you all think of this kit ? Can you get a good finish with out the upgrade kit.
For those of you that have any advice on this kit please let me know what you think and tips. Im very close to ordering it.
Thanks for your help in making this decision.
First day of the new year, first day of the Grumman Group Build.
I had a 1/48 Trumpeter F9F-2 "Panther" in the stash and knocked it out a couple of weeks ago. The kit had minimal fit issues but the decals were a little finicky and I had to touch up a few that fell apart. I usually don't pose planes wheels-down but I saw the kit at a model show years ago parked with a posed pilot and liked the look of it. I tried to replicate that with this build. The pilot was an extra from an Academy F-86 Sabre.
Thanks!
