Trapper john m.d not really a mash spinoff
Does anyone think that the show trapper john m.d is not really a spinoff of mash if only in its name that has value. The show was not even played by wayne rodgers or elliot Gould who played in the movie. Elliot Gould would later find himself on another medical show called E/R. It was a comedy that aired on cbs 0 but not to be confused with the ER show with george Clooney.there seems to be slight reference to mash on trapper john m.d but no mash actors that I know appear on that show. Also the show was pretty serious. It's like I dont consider it part of the mash universe. Surprisingly the show lasted 7 years after all the legal lawsuits. The only show I consider related to mash is after mash.
Not sure this detail has been brought up before but I'm pretty sure the trapper NPC is based on legendary John "Liver-Eating" Johnson, AKA Jeremiah Johnson. (Second picture for additional theory)

Games like these make my night. Trapper would come up to me all throughout the game place a trap down and then point with his weapon, and then once I did what he told me to do he’d leave. I gave him my med kit at the end of the match of course 💖

This might be controversial, but I'd like your opinions on this Trapper buff: Don't allow Dead Hard to ignore traps.
Ever been frustrated by survivors just Dead Harding out of your kill zone, leaving you in the dust or forcing you to compromise your kill zone? Everyone has. We've all had it happen, particularly in SWF who call out your every trap. If I was running away from a psychotic killer, dashing a few feet extra fast isn't gonna save me from triggering a bear trap he planted. It nerfs SWF ability to render your entire power completely useless, they'd have to use time to disarm instead of DH over or avoid the kill zone entirely. I'd like bloody coil to be basekit as well seeing as it's difficult to disarm a bear trap without injuring yourself without tool irl, but I can accept it might be a little bit overkill.

Played some Trapper for the first time last night and I kinda like him, there's comedy when you walk in your own traps, drama when a suvivor steps in your trap when trying to unhook or escape you and romance when you finally find that sweet beautiful beartrap you been looking for after walking around empty. Played 2 matches, one was a 4K and one I didn't get anyone but I had fun and wanna get better as him for sure.
It's fun when someone's looping you around a structure or pallet and you put a beartrap down and they're kinda fucked if they keep going :D

Brand new Yooper here. Saw a snowshoe hare in our backlot, and some deer right outside the house! excited for next season, our old state was more restrictive on hunting, so never went, but I’m excited to learn! Anyone mind being a a mentor? Looking to get both hunter/trapper licenses next season.
