I want to have a REAL discussion here about how everybody feels about Tom Otterness (the artist who filmed himself shooting a dog in 1977) being commissioned by the Memorial Art Gallery in Rochester to put up some of his works.

My input: I work in agriculture and have been toting, for the last five years of my life, the importance of supporting local, sustainable foods, both for produce and meat. I do not eat factory farmed meat, though I looove it, because I cannot support the system under which that meat is produced.

I have to say, it is bothering me to no end how people are going off about Otterness and what he did over 30 YEARS ago. I guarantee more than 90% of the people who are yelling and screaming about him eat factory farmed meat on a regular basis, where the animals are basically tortured for their entire existence, leading to not only a horrible disregard for the lives of these creatures, but also to massive environmental damage.

I think people want to care about this and make a big deal about it because it takes no effort on their part. It takes no lifestyle change or even thought to tell everyone how much you love dogs and how it was such a tragedy and horrific event that this man killed a dog 30 years ago...Everyone feels great about themselves by hating Tom Otterness, instead of actually using this event to open up a dialogue about how animals are treated in this society, and how different the reaction is when this treatment is in plain view.

I do not agree with what he did, I think it was a mistake, or a misguided attempt at setting himself apart. I do feel okay though, to forgive someone for something that happened 30 years ago, and to let him continue his career. TL;DR: Don't agree with Otterness's actions but don't agree with community response

So my wife ran her first full marathon on Sunday and while looking at the medal this morning, she remarked about the symbol in the top right corner. Unfortunately, when you do a reverse image search, you just get the Prairie Fire Marathon logo, so that left me wondering: what exactly is this symbol? The rest of the logo’s art is familiar to us, but this definitely isn’t.

Process

How does this work? Throughout the course of the week rankers are able to access an app that will allow them to rank teams. At the end of the period we calculate the average ranking for every team and collate all of the analysis provided by rankers.

Rockstars, Nazis, ET’s in the Mojave desert & Super Soldiers: When you start to dive into the UFO Phenomena, there comes a time when you just don’t know what to think of it anymore.

Is it time travel? Inter-Dimensional? Could it be ET’s? Are those greys just clones? Could those triangles map the world? Are the MJ-12 documents forgeries? Did Admiral Byrd try to conquer Nazi Ufo Bases in the antarctic? Are those Draco Reptilians somehow involved? Is the Orion Group trying to conquer the earth and was the great-granddaughter of president Eisenhower really selected for a life off earth?

As ex CIA director William Casey has put it so elegantly:

There sure are a lot of rabbit holes you can dig into for hours. But in the end documents could be fake, statements false and people like Richard Doty even not be lying.

Above all - the 2021 official government position is: 
„UFO’s are real, but they don’t know what they are“

Despite all official statements, all affidavit, all deathbed confessions and everything what has been told by officials like Philipp Corso or Jessie Marcell - I guess the government at least does know a bit more, than what it has acknowledged.
