Hi all, I bought two tickets to Omar Apollo’s concert at the Paradise Rock Club a while back.
Both my SO and a couple back-up friends bailed due to sudden work travel. As a result I have an extra ticket and am going alone.
I’m totally fine going alone as Omar is currently my favorite artist out there, but I wanted to offer up the ticket to the larger community. Let me know if you’re interested in the ticket and/or hanging at the concert.
Details about me for those interested in hanging out: 23M and non-threatening, indie music and hip-hop is my jam. I’m digging all the new indie Latino artists, they resonate with me. I’m a strategy consultant and studied in California as well as born and raised in California.
TL;DR Have no friends and SO bailed to travel for work. HMU if you want to come hang at the concert or just cop the ticket.
I bought 3 several months ago, but myself and 2 friends can no longer make it. Selling for $25 each which is well below face-value and fees.

I will start off this report by first saying this: I forgot just how mentally taxing 400ug doses are. It’s been over 10 years since I’ve gone over 300ug of LSD. With that said, it’s an extraordinary experience that I won’t soon forget. It reminded me of why I fell in love with high dose trips in the first place. This is part of a project I’ve been working on for anyone who hasn’t tripped before, or for would be psychonauts who plan on turning it up a notch. Beyond that, I won’t say much more for now, so it’s time to get back to this actual trip report!
Note: This was written after the trip, and even though I wrote as if I’m in the midst of it, i know I’d never be able to write this out on 400. I took notes when something stood out to make sure to include it.
Prep:
I started out the day by eating a healthy breakfast early in the morning at about 7 am, followed by a small lunch at 11:30 am. Beyond that, I only had water. I spent the day getting some exercise, and cleaning up the house to get ready for the evening. I made up my bed, set out some cushions, gathered some comfy blankets and pillows, made a great playlist, set up a queue of Planet Earth 2 (best thing to watch while coming up/down), and relaxing in general. Also rolled up a 5 joints for the night.
Trip:
8:30 PM: I originally only planned on taking 350, so I put the initial 3.5x100ug tabs under my tongue. They were only there for a couple minutes before I added the extra 50ug to bring me to an even 400ug, because why not?
T:+00:25 - The first alerts are already very noticeable. Lights are much brighter, strong euphoria, tingling up and down my body and spine, I can feel every hair on my body. Slight drifting if I focus on something for a few seconds. It never ceases to amaze me how fast LSD comes up when you get into higher doses.
T:+00:45 - I just swallowed the 4 tabs. Visuals are coming on much stronger now. Euphoria is through the roof. Pattern recognition, visual acuity, drifting, geometric patterns and colour changing is exponentially more pronounced. I’m already having visuals of a 150ug experience 45 minutes after setting the tabs under the tongue.
T:+00:50 - I decided to go for a walk around the neighbourhood. As I walked, the visuals, body load, and headspace got alarmingly more intense at a rate that took me (pleasantly) by surprise. In late 1977, Eddie Money released his debut self titled album, ‘Eddie Money’ and quickly took over the charts and radio airplay. The two tracks that instantly became popular, and still receive radio play to this day and paved Eddie’s music career, is ‘Two Tickets to Paradise’ and ‘Baby Hold On’. After hearing these songs for decades growing up, I personally believe that these two tracks have a different meaning than most would assume.
‘Two Tickets to Paradise’ always stood out to me. As I grew older, I started to believe that this was not a pop song about taking the love of his life to a paradise vacation, but instead, a more serious and darker undertone. A murder/suicide.
Let's start with the obvious. In religious text, the word 'paradise' is often referred to the heavenly afterlife in which you go to if you have repented your sin to the lord.

The theme of an afterlife in paradise is a theme carried throughout multiple religions outside of Christianity as well. So assuming that heaven is paradise, the title of Money's track could literally translate to "Two Tickets to Heaven".
Taking a dive into the lyrics of the song helps my case even further: >Got a surprise especially for you,

The first line, >Got a surprise especially for you
Has always sent shivers down my side. Imaging the thought of Eddie Money planning this out for a lover and him to go through together.

This is the verse that supports my theory the most. The first two lines alone can back up my thinking that Eddie is going to kill his lover (or ex lover) and himself.
