I heard somewhere that Sony had bought the rights to The Wheel of Time, and I was wondering if they ever plan to do something with it. 'Cause this is an amazing series, and it would make for an amazing tv series. I'd be really annoyed if I die before the creation of the show.

Ewan was the single greatest thing about the prequel films so of course we want to see more of him. However... what is actually going to happen? There’s no peril for him since we know he’s alive in EP4 and there are supposedly going to be 6 x 1 hour episodes... that’s a lot!

I’m fuming! But it’s hard to justify because we are talking about 5 year olds.
But for context, we live an hour away from the Oxford school shooting and last week we had a day off school to talk to our kids about making threats, about the shooting (for older kids).
Last week I messaged the teacher because this boy told my daughter he was going to hit her in the head with his lunchbox, and then did it. This boy is always bullying her and being mean, getting into trouble in class and I wanted to make sure their teacher knew about this and that I felt it was becoming an issue.
Yesterday my daughter told me that during quiet time this boy stabbed her in the neck with a pencil, and told her next time he will stab her in the eye and kill her. There was a mark on her neck when she got home from school.
My daughter knows she’s not usually allowed to say kill. She doesn’t make things up, I genuinely believe her 100%. She didn’t want to tell me yesterday that he said kill because she knows I don’t like that word.
I DONT KNOW HOW TO FEEL. it’s kindergarten. But wtf is up with this kids parents? They will still be his parents when he’s going to high school with my daughter. I want drastic measures to be taken. Idk what that means, but I want his parents to be like “oh shit, this can’t keep happening”.
The principal hasn’t called me back yet. What do I even say? Am I overreacting?
My immediate reaction when she told me this was to start crying. But I don’t want to come off as being over dramatic. My daughter got vaccinated today so she’s not going to school today anyways which is a blessing. I don’t like that this kid is set out to hurt my daughter, and I think 5 years old is a great age to cut this shit out by any means necessary. Maybe come back and try kindergarten again next year.
I’m seeing a lot of good deals on movies this week which makes me wonder if we are going to have a sale on tv series this good?
No but seriously, I’m loving it. It’s very different from Picard, and even the movies I’ve seen, but I’m really enjoying it. It’s a little cheesy sometimes and obviously the effects look 30 years old but for the first time in my life I consider myself a Star Trek fan.

I find it a problem when the entire plot of the both the books and the games revolve mostly around Danish people. people keep telling me that this show isn't made just for the Witcher fans. but this changing up race is always the same. they replace Asians with Whites, they replace everyone with Blacks, but the moment someone even suggests replacing a black character, that's when people lose their minds. if Trish was black to began with I can promise you that even non fans would be raging about this.
don't get me wrong the casting might be awesome, the show could even be amazing. it was like this with Jimmy in supergirl (to bad the writing is god awful) and the flash with Iris and her entire family + Kid flash. but after a while we need to point out this thing Hollywood is doing to Ginger people. who are by far probably the most minority group that no one seems to even care about.
