I loved listening to it around this time last year when new songs were getting debuted, along with some really good music hand picked from everyone in the group as well. I thought it was a really cool way to premiere new songs
I could also add tv series' like seaon 1 of True Detective or even art like Goya's Black Paintings...
True Detective was something completely different for me and set me onto a whole range of books and tv shows (like the above) that I hadn't really considered before.
Starting with The Conspiracy Against the Human Race through the James Lee Burke 'Robicheaux' series and the others listed above I'm looking for other authors or series on a similar (doesn't have to be identical) vein. At the moment I'm reading the Joe Abercrombie First Law series which is a fantasy twist on the genre and that I'm really enjoying.
