A list of puns related to "The Fifty three Stations of the TΕkaidΕ"
Yet another write-up of my actual play sessions set in L.A. As usual expect many locations and characters from the bloodlines game to make an appearance.
Baron Fortier has called for a Rant to be held to discuss the many major changes that have occurred recently within the Anarch Free States. As such events are now much rarer due to the danger posed by the Second Inquisition this has created much interest in Los Angeles. The majority of it's kindred population will almost certainly be in attendance...

The coterie has found that the sewers of Los Angeles are a kindred battle-zone and have identified the Barony of the Angels as the source of much of the cities current troubles. Michael has therefore arranged a meeting of its neighbouring barons to discuss a radical solution.

So I received my Index last Tuesday, and almost immediately after setting everything up and trying it out, I noticed my left controller had some really annoying drifting happening when I would face one base station individually. I thought it was maybe some reflections, so I covered everything that could possibly be reflecting. Didn't help anything, drift still there. I start browsing google and talking to people on the Discord, and find out its not really me, and more so something that has been in SteamVR forever now. The software is unable to calculate the correct 0,0 positions, cause the drift. For some its better than others, seems I got the worst of it.
Here is a video of the drift with two base stations.
So that's a really annoying amount of drift and if i'm playing a shooter like Pavlov and I aim left, my aim messes up some and I could completely miss what I am shooting at. I bought a third base station off eBay last Thursday for a decent price, considering it was new and unopened and still in the plastic from Valve. My theory was I got drifting when my controllers went from being tracked by two base stations, to only being tracked by one. So in theory, having three base stations setup in a triangle, there is no way to not be tracked by two, or a very small chance I should say.
Third base station arrived today, and behold, my theory stands correct.
Now it's still not 100%, more like 98%. There's nothing I can do about the smallest amount unless a update for SteamVR is released that fixes the calculations of the controller positions. I am very happy however with the improvement and can finally enjoy my Index without having to worry about drifting!
