The exchange district condos are the ones they will be building across from square one where the old building was demolished I believe. I'm a student close to graduation and I used to go to that Tim's a lot to do work with others, even though I lived in heartland. Sad to see the place go. I checked the prices of the new Exchange district towers , and they START at 905k and go way upwards of a million.. who's buying these? These are basically toronto-esque condo prices. There's still plenty of great buildings in city centre that offer 2 beds for 500-600K. Then there's these new buildings with small 2 beds being sold for a million. I'm amazed there are people willing to spill that much into these, in Mississauga. Toronto downtown condo owners were always crazy to me.
As someone who was interested in buying one within the next 5-6 years after I get a job, it's kind of scary how much the prices are going up. Won't be leaving our family house anytime soon I guess
