A list of puns related to "The Custom of the Country (play)"
Greeting fellow Kaiserreich fans,
The purpose of my post is to share with you my head canon about the Kaiserreich universe. The interest of this post is obviously to generate discussions on the lore, but also to discuss you βsetβ lore that you like to play in, especially with the Kaiserreich Custom Country Paths mod (hereinafter βthe Modβ).
Two premises that guides my head canon:
Usually, I favor what I would call βAuthentic Plausibilityβ. I guess itβs a fancy term for an experience that feels authentic and βcould happensβ. But itβs still fun because itβs a video game and you should enjoy playing Canada, Egypt or Iceland (you psycho).
Iβll go in the same order as the Mod and Iβll try to give a little bit of reasoning. Obviously, I donβt know the history of each countries, so feel free to share your point of view!
1. Russia
Savinkov becomes Vozhd. Russia suffers from a poor economy and is humiliated after the Weltkrieg. A National Populist seems the more plausible choice.
2. Russia - Civil War
I feel that the presence of Soviet sentiment in Russia and a civil war is both plausible and a good opportunity for the 3rdΒ Internationale to get a powerful buddy in Europe.
3. Soviet General Elections
I usually go with Totalists. Now, I usually prefer to have totalists in Europe and radical socialists or syndicalist elsewhere. Why? Because I feel that syndicalism on the verge of war would probably go toward centralization. Donβt you agree?
4. Trade Union Congress of 1936
Maximists. See Point 3.
5. Revolution in the Union
Maximists assume control. As much as I like T.E. Lawrence, it destroys the 3rdΒ Internationale and it kind of break the game, so no.
6. Commune Election of 1936
Jacobins Majority. I prefer a Strong Communard France, otherwise the Second Weltkrieg is a bit boring.
7. Jacobins Reformation
Successful. Otherwise, a Second Weltkrieg in 1937 is both boring and underwhelming, see point 6.
8. The Great (Polish) Debate
It feels that the Regency Council is over debating the ideal size of the earlobes of the future king of Poland. Republic it is for the Polish people.
9. Path for the Commonwealth
N/A
10. Italian Congress of 1936
Mussoliniβs victory, obviously, see point 3.
**11. Terrorism in the Re
... keep reading on reddit β‘Hello,
I am a beginner and am going into a tournament which is coming up in the next couple of days. I want to know how I should play the best move of the opening.
I really have no idea how to analyze the board position, so is there a way I could figure it out?
Thanks in advance.
Edit: Meant to say southeast
I'm not sure what else is there to say. I've called tons of different stores here in Poland. They're all out of stock on everything VR related, basically. My best hope is Oculus Quest which they'd have in stock by the end of March, which probably would still be after Alyx releases. I would've bought some goggles earlier if I had the money. Now that I saved the money, everything is out of stock.
Due to my unique situation (self-employed, not making enough to make registering for EU-VAT viable, I can only deduct purchaes from taxes based on invoices from Polish stores) buying anything from abroad wouldn't really work for me financially unless I'd be willing to eat dirt and concrete for the next few weeks.
Not even sure what I'm feeling right now. I'm just sad I'm going to miss the launch, the excitement and early discussions. Wishing you all lucky guys and gals an amazing time.
Specifically, I'll be traveling to Poland with a layover in either France or the Netherlands. Apparently I can enter Poland without a visa for up to 90 days, but it sounds way too simple to just show up in a Parisian airport and then Warsaw with only my passport. Isn't there some sort of catch other than "don't bring in illicit things?"
here's a bunch of Peruvian and Argentine girls staying where I live right now. One of the main conflicts is that the American boys are coming off mad aggressive and that's not something, from what I've been told, happens in those respective countries. The boys keep thinking whenever one of the girls does that kiss hello thing she's hitting on him since we don't really do that here. One of the girls was hugged up with one of the boys in a way she assumed was platonic until he started hitting on her. She tried to explain that friends can be physical in her country but it doesnt mean sex. That does not happen here at all. I don't even really touch my male friends in anyway unless they are also gay because otherwise he's gonna think I want sex. Hell even if he's gay he might think that.
So I'm curious how would compare dating culture in your country to mine? Is hookup culture a thing there? How open are people about sex? Is it common for men and women to embrace one another physically in a platonic way?
Hint: The game of hide and seek is during a period of war.
