A list of puns related to "Tess Wester"
greetings friends,
I wanted to ask some meta advice about communication as well as share a somewhat old theory in a new way. The old theorie is that Newarre Is near Trebon. Likely this has been brought up in passing due to the wordplay by Denna. NOTW:
> βBut this is nowhere.β She looked around aimlessly. βThis is the outside edge of nowhere....β
But in my post on my Warrens post. I outlined why that's likely more than just misdirection or meaningless humor on the part of the author.
I think the full weight of evidence for its location got lost in the broader more abstract theory. So I have cleaned it up and isolated the topic in two posts. First, how Auri would get to Newarre in Ways to safe places
Secondly, a focused look at how the two locations are similar in How to get to Newarre.
My thought is that I didn't get much reception on the whiteboard because:
So my meta question is about which of the above or all would you say it is or was? I ask because I'm trying to work on my communication skills and I'm using the KKC as the vehicle to do that. I also have a lot more to share and like Ben, I would like you to take me seriously, or at least explain what's flawed about my logic.
Concerning the last point and my fear that "people don't click links". I'll go ahead and copy the entire two theories here. Though the formatting won't be as good. It also won't have pictures which I would argue Rothfuss uses to build out his worth. One of the reasons his books take so long is because he likely spends a lot of time on material outside the main series.
Here are (most) of the two posts (I leave out some bonus sections). Hopefully, they are enjoyable:
The theory is that Newarre is near Trebon and the Mauthen farm. The idea relies on several elements that will discuss individually, either here, or in other posts which I'll link to. The bulk of this Theory is a piece of another titled Warren Widdershins Ways and Woes in which Auri gets the ingredients for a candle. To get those
... keep reading on reddit β‘The funeral director was asking us what we think Mum should wear in her casket.
Mum always loved to wear sarongs (fabric wraps that go around the torso and drape downward a bit like a long skirt would), so my uncle suggested that she wear a sarong in there.
The funeral director looked a bit confused, as did some of our family members, to which my uncle added:
"What's sarong with that?"
I started laughing like an idiot. He was proud of it too. The funeral director was rather shocked. We assured her, and our more proper relatives, that Mum would've absolutely loved the joke (which is very true).
His delivery was perfect. I'll never forget the risk he took. We sometimes recall the moment as a way help cushion the blows of the grieving process.
--Edit-- I appreciate the condolences. I'm doing well and the worst is behind me and my family. But thanks :)
--Edit-- Massive thanks for all the awards and kind words. And the puns! Love 'em.

But Bill kept the Windows
True story; it even happened last night. My 5-year-old son walks up behind me and out of the blue says, "hey."
I turn to him and say, "yeah, kiddo? What's up?"
He responds, "it's dead grass."
I'm really confused and trying to figure out what's wrong and what he wants from me. "What? There's dead grass? What's wrong with that?"
.
.
.
He says, totally straight-faced, "hay is dead grass," and runs off.
And then you will all be sorry.
No it doesn't.
Now itβs syncing.
He replied, "Well, stop going to those places then!"
I will find you. You have my Word.
