A list of puns related to "Tata Nexon"
Which is better. Mostly buying petrol and automatic. Please give a detailed review. Mainly for city use and occasional highway. Thanks
Delhi waalon! Need some feedback/suggestions.
I am planning to purchase a new car and I am stuck in making a choice between Tata Nexon vs KIA Sonet.
80% of the people I have talked to our inclined for Nexon, but the cons stated are - 1) it's a 3 cylinder car & 2) It's service isn't that good.
Can you please share your experience? It will help me take an ideal call. Thanks!
Please guide me
Help me choose one between the two. Kindly share your honest and genuine feedback/suggestions. I can only afford the base model of either of them.
Edit:
I recently started driving so excuse me in advance. A relative of mine owns a Nexon Petrol version and I really wanted to know how it feels. The clutch felt very different and until I set in the revs it wasn't ready to come up. Nothing like I've experienced before. Really want to know why the clutch is like that and how does it help
Seeking honest and genuine feedback and advise on choosing one between the two. Both seem pretty much at par and similar. Don't mind being corrected.
I'm really confused between these two cars, Sonet GTX+ DCT 1.0 turbo petrol version and Tata Nexon XZ+(O) AMT dark edition petrol version. My use case is mostly city drive with occasional trips with family (4-5 people). My town is not that big so no traffic jams and no long distances on a daily basis. My requirements are good driving experience, a little premium feel, good comfort and overall good value. Please also do suggest if there are good options in this range apart from these two. Thanks!
Title.
I bought Tata Nexon XZA Plus Petrol Variant. During that time, I received one peps key set (remote and mechanical key) and one wearable key (wrist watch).
Recently, I realised that all other Tata Nexon owners got one peps key extra. I got confirmation from other Tata showroom dealers.
With this information I raised a complaint. The dealer said, they are issuing keys as per the Tata instructions. When I informed about the other dealers, they are asking me to get their internal key combination information, which they are not open to share.
If anyone bought that car Variant during May/June 2021, I want to know how many keys they got.
And is there any other way I can approach this problem.
Hi all, need advice from you all on deciding between Tata Nexon and Hyundai Creta. I am interested in diesel engine+manual gearbox. I have done a basic comparison between both, which is as follows:
Nexon:
+5 star safety -6 month service interval -Tata issues and parts costs -No rear disc brakes -Only 2 airbags -Horrible instrument cluster
Creta:
-Safety? +Size +Rear disc brakes +6 airbags +Ventilated seats +Panoramic sunroof +Electric seat adjustment +Auto dimming IRVM +17 inch wheels +TFT instrument cluster +10.25 inch infotainment +LED headlights +Refined and silent engine
A couple of pointers I'd like to add:
-> Creta is at the upper limit of my budget. Can't extend any further.
-> Hyundai's attitude is not something I like:
a) There are 3 dealers in my city, none of them has a test drive vehicle, and only 1 had a base variant of Creta on display - hard to get idea on colour unless we get to see it in person.
b) None of them are even ready to arrange a test drive in the near future. For colour options they ask to check on YouTube.
c) All of them just want me to book the car ASAP - waiting period is 30 weeks. How can we book a car worth almost 20 lacs without even seeing it - let alone test drive?
d) Lastly, Hyundai's attitude as a brand is also not giving me confidence. I've tweeted at them a couple of times, and even dropped them an email for a couple of queries - no response whatsoever. If this is their attitude before buying their car, how will they behave once we buy the car and need some support/escalation?
-> Tata on the other hand, is very cordial. Their sales executive is very polite and responds towards all my queries, and is ready to deliver the car within 30 days of booking. They also have several units on display in the dealership.
-> Tata executive is also offering me test drives - even multiple drives if I want to check something again etc.
So here's the dilemma. As a car I am leaning more towards Creta but I feel that Tata will potentially provide me a better after sales experience. Sorry for long post.
Need some honest and genuine advise to pick one. I am looking to buy a sub compact suv and want to buy only Indian make. Please help.
Hi everyone, Happy diwali. You might know me from my previous posts (i was looking for automatic cars). It's been 2 months and i am confused as hell. Reason being i will use car Only for commuting between my home and workplace which will be ~15 Km in total (for total 22-25 days per month). I finalized on Magnite CVT. But the showroom people were so much unresponsive i lost my interest completely. Not to mention 3-4 month waiting period (one of the reason why the staff was ignorant). With rising price of petrol (which will continue to rise) i thought i might be making a blunder in terms of money. Right now it takes ~5000-6000 per month for me in cabs. Investing in car meant 30+ k per month (including emi and petrol). I am now more and more and more inclined towards electric vehicle. Tata Nexon is the only one which i think is available option (~15 lac range). People who drive EV Nexon please tell me your feedback. Should I go with it. I have mentioned you my requirements above already. Please help.
I'm thinking of buying an EV as my first vehicle purchase. Fellow EV owners, do let me know if it is worth buying or the issues faced by EVs are too much of a hassle and I should maybe prefer a normal car. Maybe you could point me to some forum/subreddit which is perfect for this question too. Although I'm not from Bangalore but would love to see your pov considering that I live in a metro city only and believe the issues would be similar.
Hi community,
I am planning to buy Nexon xza+ (s) petrol. This is the first time I am buying a new car. Had bought a used one from a friend earlier.
Took the test drive today and liked the car. The guy who came to show the car mentioned that there is a lot of demand and there is no discount. But I believe they say that to everyone.
So any tips about how I should negotiate and how much discount I can get? Also any tips before paying the booking amount?
First time we took our Nexon to one of the Chennai centers (Tata Motors), and they told us their firmware wasn't updated to match our car and therefore we couldn't charge it there.
The second time was today, in Bangalore, when the people at the center told us they couldn't fast charge it there and that we had to go to a place 30kms away.
Isn't it Tata's responsibility to ensure this doesn't happen to Electric Car owners?
Is there anything we can do legally?
Should we take this to Tata first or directly to Consumer Court? (Assuming that's the appropriate court?)
Any help is appreciated.
I recently bough a TATA NEXON AMT O(s) which is just below the top variant. I have only received PEPS key which cost around 7000INR. They have supplied only a wearable along with PEPS key. The manual variant which costs lesser than my variant gets 2 PEPS key. There were several articles going around in social media explaining the scam. One guy complained enough and he got an assurance mail from TATA. I tweeted the same and their response is that only one PEPS + one variable will be provided with the AMT version. I sent this article as dm and they didn't respond. The customer care representative who contacted me is also saying the same. There is no official document which shows what all we gets with a particular model. I was thinking about filing a case in the consumer court? What else should I do?

I am taking delivery of Tata Nexon XZA+ s model. Is there any Tata specific precautions I need to take ? Also, any tips for documentation check are welcome too. I am not sure if my dealer will have my best interest in his mind.
If this is repetitive, please point to the right link. Thanks.
My father has been driving a Hyundai Santro Xing XE (2005 Model) for the last 15 years. It has served us well, still has a great engine and a smooth drive probably because it was driven for only 1.5 Lakh KMs only. But as my father is getting older shifting to an automatic transmission is paramount especially given his knee pain.
Ideal things to have in our new car -
Eliminated the following cars -
In Consideration -
I am more inclined towards S-Cross at the moment. Also it seems more bang for the buck.
Is there anything else that I am missing for Tata Nexon or does the above analysis make sense?
Any other cars to consider?
Thanks in Advance
