A list of puns related to "Talent Scout"
If a VC was looking for new investments
I.e never spoken to the company before. But matches their brief.
Whats the name of person who will initiate first contact?
And is their main job responsibility βfinding new opportunitiesβ day to day?
Hi guys. I was contacted by a talent scout who was looking to share my portfolio with some agencies they represent. I looked them up and they are legit, but this is my first time in this situation as an artist. I have no idea what is entailed in being represented by an agency if one does pick me, and I ultimately only plan to keep working in my current art style for the next 5-6 years or so because I eventually want to focus on a different style I work in.
Does anyone have any experience with agencies and could give me some advice on what to expect? Iβd like to have an idea of what Iβm getting myself into before I decide to commit.
Edit: thanks for the responses guys. I was hesitant and this feedback has helped.
My thoughts so far- Gruden and Mayock have done a mediocre job at drafting so far. But our latest draft seems to be the most promising. Couple of reaches and some absolute misses. But also some late round gems that have turned into instant Raider classics like Maxx and Renfrow.
2019; overall grade is a C.
Cle; solid player but out of the βstartingβ rotation (to start this season at least). Will always be tied to his draft position but heβs a valuable piece.
Josh Jacobs; great player, nothing more to say
JA; hopefully turns it around this year but heβs been disappointing.
Trayvon Mullen; up and coming still imo. Has shown flashes and this is the year he needs to solidify himself as a great CB.
Mad Max; great player, nothing more to say.
Isaiah Johnson; no longer on team.
Foster Moreau; think Gruden fucked up last year giving Witten looks over Moreau. But I donβt think he was 100% last season. Looking for a solid year from Foster
Hunter Renfrow; my favorite pick from the draft. Straight baller.
Quinton Bell; no longer on team.
2020; overall grade is a D. Already 2 players no longer on the team. Despite my belief in Ruggs and Arnette they are still ?s until they show us something.
Ruggs; needs to show us something this year. With more and more rookie WRs making an immediate impact, Ruggs must solidify himself as an integral part of our offense.
Damon Arnette; disappointing first season. But imo I think it was due to injury and not his ability. Seems to have lost his starting job as well. Another make or break season imo, especially given his draft position. I have high hopes for him though
Lynn Bowden; no longer on team. Wasted pick. Huge miss by Gruden and Mayock
Bryan Edwards; donβt tell my fantasy league about this dude.
Tanner Muse; no longer on team
John Simpson; I think heβll eventually become a starter for our team.
Amik Robertson; this dude is a dog. Undersized but plays hard. Hoping he can carve out a nice role for us.
2021; C+ think we addressed alot of needs. If these guys play up to their potential I think this will be gruden and mayocks best draft.
Alex Leatherwood; dog. Think heβll have ups and downs this year but I believe in him.
Trevon Moehrig; favorite pick of this draft. I think heβll make an immediate impact on our defense.
Malcolm Koonce; I think this was a reach but looking forward to him proving me wrong. Feel like this was another βbig brainβ move by Gruden and Mayock.

Donβt get me wrong, I am VERY ecstatic about him being in AEW. The dream matches are endless. But knowing Vince, Iβm a bit concerned and worried about Bryanβs intentions in AEW.
You see, once he released his article thanking WWE, it left a sour taste in my mouth. Being in AEW, heβs not suppose to be thanking the enemy, the company that has ruined professional wrestling for years and have insulted the intelligence of many fans worldwide.
There have been rumors that during the end of his WWE run, he had minor backstage roles like being a producer. Being an active talent on the roster, this is a huge privilege he had.
To make matters worse, John Laurinaitis, who is now the head of talent, is married to Brie Bellaβs mom. Itβs possible he wants to snatch some AEW talent as well.
This leads me to believe that Vince sent Bryan to be his βTrojan Horseβ to deceive AEW and attack them internally.
Iβm worried that people like Hangman Page, Jungle Boy, or MJF will secretly approach him in the locker room and inquire about what itβs like in the WWE. Seeing how Bryan thinks of Vince and the company highly, it makes me sick to the stomach to think of him spitting propaganda to these stars and encouraging them to jump ship.
Iβm doing my best to just enjoy the product but knowing Vinceβs bad intentions, I am disturbed by these thoughts.
Iβm asking because Iβm wondering if this happened with everyone, or if I have a recuiter watching me from afar; either one is fine, but if itβs the second one, do say hi next time lol.
Hey everyone! So Iβm looking to get another board and Iβve narrowed it down to both of these and needed some help lmao, theyβre both amazing boards and ride like a dream but what would yβall recommend? Iβm just a hard charger all mountain freestyle type of person:)
Hi,
I remember reading this book in Australia in the mid or late 00s. It was pretty disturbing, so it stuck with me. Might have had swimming on the cover, I remember a scene where the teenage character went swimming. I think he was fairly troubled and had an understandably antagonistic relationship with his weird manager, and might've been skipping out on work. I don't remember if he was a singer or an athlete. I think the agent was very neurotic about puberty. Towards the end of the book, he started scouting some younger boys to form a boy band and went to their houses to meet their families. That always haunted me. There might have been a character called Peter or Simon, but I'm not confident about that one.
I've tried Googling a lot but it's possible my memories of the details are off or my inability to work out what to call the talent dude is throwing me off, since I can usually find random books.
Thank you to anyone who can help get this question off my brain!
It's just that bad. Everything is not applicable to my work history, old, or both. And yet this was a program that required an interview. <sigh>
I got a mail saying I was vetted for the program and that I need to schedule an interview as a last step. This was a bit surprising because as per the announcement there should have been a long involving process for vetting. Not that I am complaining!
I used the calendly link to schedule an interview. It was exactly 30 minutes and covered basic things like introduction to what this program is and isn't. Also, they set expectations from this about clients and work. I was asked preferences though I don't think they have any consequences on listing and proposals at the moment.
Nothing technical was asked, just a highlight project and what I learnt from it. My skills and specialization. That was about it. It was more like the last round during recruitment when you interact with the HR. Pretty chill. They said very few people were being added to the program. I guess I was lucky! π
I was told, they'd get back to me within 2 weeks but I got a mail in 2 hours saying I was in!! So that was good.
The listing on the sites are few and on an average, there have been under 1 posting a day for the past month for my category. I suppose they are on boarding the clients just like freelancers.
Overall, it required 30 minutes investment from my side. I'd love to see how this pans out. Worst case, it'll be like the invitations I receive. Down the trash chute. Though, I have a bit more confidence than that.
