A list of puns related to "TCL 10 Pro"
Hello,
I own 2019 Shield Tv pro running on TCL R625 55".
I had this issue since my days with the tube non-pro 2019. I replaced it recently and the problem still presists.
I tried different ideas, bought two HDMIs one is amazon basic and the other is monoprice.
I took the shield to my friend's house and ran it on X900F sony. I noticed there are no problems at all so I figured it's related to my TV.
I made sure that I am running on hdmi 2.0 and I also tried different hdmi outputs, but to no avail.
Everything else working just fine, playing Remuxes with direct play no problems at all.
It happened when I open apps like VLC, X-plorer, Youtube.
Watchout if you have epilepsy as it may trigger it
Looking forward for your input on this issue. Thank you.
As of the past week or so, whenever I start up an HDR enabled game (PUBG, Battlefield V, etc.), my whole system turns faded out and washed out (the game itself, the home screen, etc.).
If I turn off HDR in the PS4 settings, this fixes the problem.
I don't know if the problem is the PS4 or the TV (and presumably an update to one of them since the problem just started happening all of a sudden).
I've read solutions from other people with this issue on a TCL TVs but none of them are working for me (e.g. turning off game mode on the TV, changing the "colour space" setting for the TV, etc.).
Any ideas?
At this point, I'm just keeping HDR off on the PS4, which sucks!
EDIT: I should add that before this randomly started happening, HDR worked fine on my TV. Also, when I used to load up HDR games, an HDR symbol from the TV would pop up in the corner during load-up to indicate that HDR is active, BUT now this HDR symbol no longer comes up!
EDIT #2 - SOLUTION FOUND:
Ok so one of the suggested solutions worked!
Just had to go into settings on the tv and select restart. Also unplugging and plugging the tv back in probably would have done it too.
If it starts happening again I'll probably change the setting that puts my tv in sleep mode when when I turn it off so that it does a full shut down instead everytime.
Also, some people mentioned that using the CEC settings on the tv or connected device (that let the tv auto turn on when an HDMI connect device like a PS4 is turned on) started the problem. I had also just started using these setting for the first time when the problem started so there may be a connection here. If the TV shut down solution didn't work my next solution was to try turning the CEC setting on the TV and PS4 all back to default.
I was also considering a factory reset of that TV which presumably would have worked since a shut down worked.
EDIT #3: Model number of my TV for those asking: TCL 6-Series 55R615-CA.
I was planning to buy a Samsung 4K TV just because I'm used to the name but any in my budget don't have true HDR.
For a just a little more, I can get TCL's with true HDR. But I'm hesitant to get one because I never heard of TCLs before reading about them today.
Specifically, I'm looking at the TCL 6 series 55 inch TV which was on a couple major sites' best budget 4K TVS (like IGN and Rtings.com).
Here's a link (this link and the prices are Canadian): https://www.bestbuy.ca/en-ca/product/tcl-6-series-55-4k-uhd-hdr-led-roku-os-smart-tv-55r615-ca/13185858.aspx?
Whenever I start playing a game that has hdr this glitch will happen where the screen gets covered in white lines and it won't go away until I close the app. For most games it didn't happen very often and it wasn't much of a problem, but for the new Modern Warfare it starts happening within 2-7 minutes from starting the game and is extremely annoying. I've tried changing the resolution on the Ps4 Pro and turning off hdr but I can't seem to find anything that helps other than closing the app when the glitch starts happening. Please help.

I am well overdue for a television upgrade. I have a PS4 Pro and am hoping to get a television that is well suited for that type of gaming. Iβm hoping to keep it under $1000.
Iβve been looking at the 65β TCL 6 series thatβs priced around $700 currently. How is TCL compared to traditional large electronics manufacturers like Samsung, LG, Sony, etc. ?
Thanks in advance! I havenβt purchased a television in close to a decade.
Since last couple of days, Destiny HDR looked really washed out and pretty unplayable. Itβs a sudden change.
Iβve checked other HDR content on my TV looks fine. Also tested other HDMI ports but same problem.
The TV firmware version hasnβt changed.
Iβve turned off HDR in Destiny for now. Any ideas of what I should do to diagnose the issue? Thanks.

Local - 20121 (Centreville/NoVa)
TV - $200 Local, I can also ship - Comes with remote, cable, and included stand. Amazing picture and best value 43" TV imo. Has dolby vision and wide color gamut. Would categorize it as a middle-tier TV since it lacks features like back-light array and other stuff. Overall would highly recommend, would keep it if roommate didn't buy a TV.
PS4 PRO -$450 shipped - God of War Special Edition. Includes GOW with special edition steelbook and other games in pics and special edition controller. Includes all needed cables. Will be reset before selling.
Samsung Curved Sound Bar - $120 Local - Amazing sound and works great with ARC and HDMI pass-through. Great product
I will consider all reasonable offers, however I think posted prices are very fair.
Thank you!
EDIT: ALL SOLD
So i've been in the market for a decently priced UHD TV w/ HDR to get full use out of my pro, and yesterday I found it. I didn't want to spend over $1k for a 55" TV to get the full use out of my pro. I scoured forums and review sites galore and initially settled on a $800 SONY, but ot be honest I was not very happy with it. I kept that for a few days and then saw reviews for this TCL television and it got glowing reviews for only $700. I picked that bad boy up and I'm telling you it has one of the most beautiful pictures I've seen on a UHD TV outside of of OLED obviously. But you're getting at least 80% of the picture quality of an OLED at a fraction of the cost. Not to mention this thing doesn't just contain standard HDR10 but actually comes with the better Dolby digital version of HDR. The input lag and picture quality is way above what I paid for this thing in my opinion. Just something to ponder for those not looking to pay through the nose and still experience the PRO in its full glory.
I'm having some difficulty connecting my Windows 10 PC to my TCL Roku TV (a TCL 6-series, specifically). When I tried to use an HDMI cable, the TV didn't pick up any signal from it. Pressing Win + P brings up the Project screen, and none of the options do anything. I've also tried the "Connect to a Wireless Display" option, and my TV does show up in the list, but all that happens is that my TV says "Starting video from... (my computer name)" for a few seconds, and then it just goes back to the regular screen again. I've seen some people say youi can do it by going into the computer's resolution settings, but in my case changing the resolution does nothing but change the resolution. There's no options for adding or connecting to any other displays. Does anyone have any suggestions for how to connect my TV and PC?
Hi all! So after looking up details on the TCL 6 series tv for the past couple of days, I decided to treat myself and purchase the 55R615 from Best Buy. Like most big purchases, it gave me a little bit anxiety dropping that much money on a single purchase, but overall I'm very happy with this tv.
For a short and sweet mini review, I had read that there were some QC issues plaguing this TV (vertical banding, dirty screen effect) so I was a little bit nervous that I may have to play the exchange game to get a good display. I'm happy to report that I appear to have won the display lottery on my first attempt (or I'm not terribly affected by what problems I do observe). There is some noticeable vertical banding on bright blue backgrounds (noticed it mostly during sky shots on Planet Earth II) or when sitting at an off angle from the TV. However, my gf and I sit head on and when viewing anything other than a solid background, the banding isn't that noticeable and doesn't deter from the viewing experience at all.
The only other blemishes that I've come across so far are some black shadows in all four corners of the TV (is this backlight bleed?) I feel like most HDTV's I've owned have had some form of black shadows in the corners and these are so feint that it's imperceptible unless against a solid light colored background (like the vertical banding).
Final little blemish that exists is a tiny little scratch in the upper right hand corner of the display. I'm unsure of whether the scratch got there while we were setting it up or if it is a manufacturer defect, but it's a little disheartening that it got scratched on the first day. It's not noticeable when actually watching something but my obsessive self certainly knows it's there.
Anyway, with that little mini review out of the way, on to the actual questions I had regarding the PS4 Pro and the Onkyo TX-SR373:
So my setup consists of having the Pro plugged into the TX-SR373 using the provided Pro HDMI cable and another HDMI cable (unsure of the quality of it... maybe this could be the culprit for my problem described ahead?) plugged into the TV from the HDMI Out channel on the receiver.
Using this setup, I'm only able to select 2160-YUV420 on the display settings. 2160-RGB is grayed out and told it is unsupported. I've tried playing with any setting I can get my hands on in all three devices (PS4 Pro, TV, and Receiver) and nothing appears to be doing anything to let me select 2160-RGB. I've even tried ch

For instance right now Tomb Raider looks extremely washed out, nothing pops liked it used to. Itβs like all colors are dulled out.
Deep blacks now become βpixelatedβ looking, skin tones can look weird.
We had ZERO issues with these problems until that day with somebody posting about better HDR.
Iβve tried factory resetting, PS4 settings, adjusting anything I can think of any zero luck.
Trying to see if anybody else had any issues and was able to resolve. 4k 55 inch HDR TCL.
Hi everyone,
As the title asks. Besides price, what other downsides would there be with getting a 65" over a 55"?
Will FPS be lower on the 65" because of the PS4 Pro needing to push more out for the larger screen? Etc etc.
Thanks
Hey there! I saw that about a year ago, people were experiencing a similar problem but I couldn't find a resolution. I just bought the TCL 55P605 55in 4k HDR TV and it is gorgeous... Until I try and use my PS4 pro in 4k. Then I get white artifacts flash on my screen and sometimes it goes black for a moment or two. This doesn't happen when I set it to 1080p. I've tried the following:
Only thing that works is the 1080p.
Do any of you wonderful people have a fix or know what to do. The tv is 4 days old and the PS4 pro was purchased last night.
If so, how's the system work with it? I have an LG that keeps cutting the picture out and it's really irritating during an online game. Looked into budget 4k TV's and an old roommate used to have a TCL which looked pretty good.
Any thoughts?
I'm not sure what happened if it was a Windows update or a Roku update that broke it but anytime I try to turn on her on my 43s515 it's beyond dark and it never did that before, with now way of fixing it in Nvidia control panel or windows settings other than turning HDR off
After a ton of research, I purchased the TCL P605 yesterday at best buy. I have been dying to upgrade to 4k ever since I bought my PS4 Pro. Unfortunately after a day and a half of trying to calibrate my new TV I still can't get HDR to look good on the PS4. I followed Rtngs.com calibration guide and it looked OK but the HDR still looked washed out and almost blurry. The edges were not very sharp. It looks terrible and I don't know what do. I really want to enjoy HDR gaming and I have only heard good things about this TV. What am I doing wrong? I was skeptical about buying this TV based on the brand I hope I don't end up regretting this purchase. If any of you guys have this TV and a PS4 Pro please help. Thank you guys!
I'm looking for a good remote that can control my PS4 so I don't need to use the controller when trying to watch media. The official media remote looks pretty nice but I was wondering if anybody knows if there's a remote that can control the PS4 as well as my TCL 6 Series Roku TV?
If not, does anybody have any complaints or reviews about the official remote?
And aside from the above questions, what other questions would you ask yourself?
I thought I would post over here too in order to generate as much views on this as I could. I apologize if this isn't allowed here and if it isn't please let me know and I'll delete my post.
