what are your opinions on the movie “super dark times”?
i just finished this movie and it’s truly disturbing in its element. with amazing filming and relatability ( been a teenager with anxiety) super dark times is a banger. the display of anxiety throughout the film is incredible and the events that occur are less shocking and more absolutely horrifying (and a terrifying soundtrack) . without ghosts or constant action i think this movie takes the place for being one of my favorite thrillers/horror. what were your opinions?

I can’t lie, this was super fun! It wasn’t as bad as I assumed it would be. Stabbing enemies was truly satisfying! I’m down to just the strife now and I’ll finally have dark matter for the first time ever. Never grinding for anything like this before! I’m 300 days late but I only started recently.

[Dark Souls 3] #15 - my second FromSoft platinum. Absolutely love this game, but the grind for covenant items was super tedious and took up about 2/3s of my playing time.

Foo Fighters are one of the most mediocre, soulless super bands of modern times.
I get the appeal, I really do. To me, their repertoire, for the most part, is soulless pop-heavy whitewash 'rock'. Black sweat bands, dark tees and jeans with long greasy hair, wearing guitar straps too lose. They are nothing more than merchandise pedallers which are more of a corporation than a band of uniquely unified musicians creating for the sake of creating.
They are one of those bands people love and absorb themselves into as part of that awkward phase of their youth when they are discovering their interests and identity. Then they grow out of them shortly after and further allow their music taste to mature and evolve.
It's cool to see younger people into them, but when I hear an adult saying they love the Foo Fighters my mind instantly assumes a few things: that they are a devout radio-station-rock fan; that their music taste is more of an identity to them rather than for their own enjoyment; and that their music taste has ultimately been left grounded in a state of complete stagnation and hasn't evolved in a very long time.
They do have some well-written tunes, but none absolutely groundbreaking. As for that 'Play' video Dave released last year or the year before which everyone raved about, that too was pretty awful in my opinion.
Anecdotally I've found that people who listen to Foo Fighters seem to have an extremely low threshold to heavier forms of the genre. They also don't seem to like melancholic music, or anything they might consider saddening. Just my observation over the years.
I heard them on the radio in the store today and that's what made my write this. Probably going to come across really pretentious but whatever.

My first Dark Angels Green-wing miniatures. C&C most welcome... I know the lack of highlighting is heretical but I personally prefer the super-dark Caliban green look on my DA's. I wish I could find more time for this hobby. Anyone else find this aspect frustrating? I have so many unopened boxes!

Im looking for something that starts off fairly innocent, that after some turn of events, ends up spiraling out of control beyond neccessary means. I find that to be very raw and attention grabbing. Who can help me out?
It's a little dark but I'm super proud of my once upon a time poster. We only have 2 framed but I have close to 200 other posters rolled up in their tubes waiting for their turn to be framed. (my collection is a little bit excessive but after literally growing up in a movie theatre it's expected)

BTS logo embroidery for my best friends birthday. Super proud of how it came out! Dyed the fabric with watercolour and heat set it for the very first time but it's one of my favorite parts of this piece. Also, this was done with glow in the dark thread so it looks really pretty in the dark!

The movie was so good. Especially after reading one of the more popular theories on the ending, I have a huge appreciation for this film.
That being said, I really enjoy this type of genre. Kids doing stupid shit, ends up doing something bad. Movies like My Friend Dahmer, We Need to Talk About Kevin, etc. Any recommendations for anything similar would be appreciated!
Super Dark Times
Last night I watched Super Dark Times for the third time, with a friend who had never seen it before. He really enjoyed it and we discussed the film for a while afterwards, talking about our theories to do with the ending and the overall themes.
Super Dark Times is listed as my fourth favourite film on Letterboxd, and I truly believe it has been overlooked and deserves to be watched by more people. It has the potential to be a cult classic in the near future, should people give it a chance.
The story is straight forward: two teenagers experience a tragedy and as a result, slowly lose their innocence in a tale of guilt and paranoia. However, it's the excellent and gritty screenplay that keeps this movie grounded. It doesn't have a boring detective subplot, with somebody trying to solve the case of what happened. There is a love interest as it is a coming of age film, but it's realistic and serves a huge purpose within the story. Every performance is pitch perfect and the dialogue sounds so real, if sometimes improvised. The movie has perhaps one of my favourite scores too; it's ambient and dream-like, playing off of the dream sequences that occur throughout.
I'd highly recommend this film to anyone who hasn't seen it. If you have seen it, what did you think?

Did a quickie this AM. Dark rum, tamari, garlic, onion, cayenne, liquid smoke, seeds, and brown sugar. I’ve tried this a couple times before and it always comes out awesome. Super yummy. 4 day bath (yes, 4 days), cook @ 150° for 7 hours. Eye of Round.
I topped my plant today and it literally bled purple, my leaves are dark green I was thinking Ntox although no signs of raven clawing. The plant is super healthy aside from the time my cat.nibbled on a few.leaves and they look odd. Is this genetics that makes.my plant just have a darker color.

I absolutely love any kind of boss game, especially ones that involve sword combat, I just finished sekiro and am now setting up to move into dark souls for the first time, only question is which one should I play first? I was thinking about getting 3 first
