A list of puns related to "Sunny 16 (EP)"
The Love Boat aired from September 17, 1976 to February 12, 1990 (a duration of 13 years, 5 months). Since The Love Boat, there have only been 6 scripted TV comedies to run for a longer duration, all of which are still currently running:
The Simpsons since December 17, 1989 (31 years, 11 months)
South Park since August 13, 1997 (24 years, 3 months)
Family Guy since January 31, 1999 (22 years, 10 months)
Curb Your Enthusiasm since October 15, 2000 (21 years, 1 month)
American Dad! since February 6, 2005 (16 years, 10 months)
It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia since August 4, 2005 (16 years, 4 months)
This week (between Thursday, November 25 and Wednesday, December 1) there will be new episodes from 5 of the above shows:
Thursday, November 25 - South Park: Post COVID (Paramount+)
Sunday, November 28 - The Simpsons S33E09: "Mothers and Other Strangers" (Fox)
Sunday, November 28 - Family Guy S20E09: "The Fat Man Always Rings Twice" (Fox)
Sunday, November 28 - Curb Your Enthusiasm S11E06: "Man Fights Tiny Woman" (HBO)
Wednesday, December 1 - It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia S15E01: "2020: A Year In Review" & S15E02: "The Gang Makes Lethal Weapon 7" (FXX)
Nothing more to this post, I know a lot of people are not big on The Simpsons or Family Guy anymore, but I just thought it was funny looking at my DVR this week and seeing it was recording all shows I used to watch 15-20 years ago.
Note: for arguments sake I did not count shows on this list that were brought back for a 1 or 2 season reboot after a big gap between seasons like Roseanne (1988-1996, 2018), Will & Grace (1998-2005, 2017), Arrested Development (2003-2005, 2013, 2018) or Reno 911! (2003-2009, 2020)
Edit: to edit this, I realized The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet (duration of 13 years, 6 months) actually lasted 1 month longer than The Love Boat, but regardless the 6 active shows I mentioned are still the only ones to run longer than either of these shows.
Quick question. Trying to learn shooting without depending on a light meter.
When rating a iso 400 film at 200 in order to overexpose one step. Do I (in sunny conditions) set the shutter speed to 1/500 or 1/250th of a second?
Hello it's time for me to post this skin, I hope you like this.
Pochiko from pop'n music sunny park, if don't know the character you most likely know the song Pochiko's Daily Life of Happiness.
Anyways here is the cool stuff:
Enjoy!
Ok so I understand the general rule of setting the shutter speed at the inverse of your iso and controlling the aperture according to the sunlight conditions. For example, on a bright sunny day using iso 400 film one would use 1/400 and f16. Under the same conditions if one were to use 1/800 and f11 would this provide the same exposure since the shutter speed and aperture are being changed reciprocally? I think this should be the case, just need some clarity.
Since their launch just about three weeks ago, Sunny.ag has grown to over $3,000,000,000 dollars in total locked assets. In return for 16% of your SABR tokens (earned through the various LP's at Saber.so), you're rewarded with the "governance token" SUNNY, which is currently trading around $0.06 on some Solana dex's.
Now, do the math with me here. There are 17 SABER pools (farms) currently offered via sunny. The average APY that is earned from SABER for these 17 farms is 10%.
At the time of writing, after just a few weeks in business, Sunny has $3,215,677,290 in locked assets.
Those assets are bringing in $321,567,729 per year in SBR returns (APY so that's with compounding)...
And Sunny takes 16% of that amount, or $51,450,836.64 per year.
And all they have to do is give out some of these currently totally useless Governance Tokens which they've minted in return ... and hope (or make sure) that SUNNY has some value on the Dex's, in order to encourage further investment. Now I'm just totally spitballing here, but if you're bringing in $51m per year, it wouldn't be too hard to "make sure" that these tokens continue to have some value. I'm not saying they're doing this, but I can't help but think how easy it would be, and I can't think of a single reason that anyone else would be purchasing them.
It's not publicly known who is running this project, which is also amazing. $3b locked up and an unknown entity at the helm. What a time to be alive!
What are your guys thoughts on projects like Sunny? Do "governance tokens" have some intrinsic value that I'm overlooking? You can't stake it, add it to an LP, or currently even use it to vote on anything so ... it's just ... the thing is....
Love to hear from the SUNNY guys or any other interested parties. Either way, I offer them congrats on their incredible growth and success, it was wild to watch it take off.
My Arboreal hideout looks like it has a huge rainy cloud all over it, while before it was very nice warm sunny environment.
Also noticable on other sunny maps (like canyon) etc. There isn't any more sunny areas in the game anymore (not even Sarn act3 is what is used to be).

GGG, any feedback on this one, PLEASE?
Hey friends, before I get into today's walkies report I just wanted to let you know of our new favorite sub we've been enjoying: r/taterthepufferfish - lots of high quality Tater content over there, always cheers up the Poopervisor.
Anyway, walkies commenced at 5:05 am this morning and cicada season is in full swing! I am averaging 6 cicadas a day and have had the opportunity to enjoy them in many forms. Today's report will focus on reviewing each type of cicada, going from least favorite to most favorite.
Cicada Covered in Ants - this type of cicada will trick you into thinking he is ripe for eating, but then if you try you will get a mouthful of ants. For anyone that hasn't tried this yet, a mouthful of ants is unpleasant at best. 0/10, do not recommend.
Cicada Husk - this is the part of the cicada that is left over after the cicada emerges. It is very crispy, but ultimately there's very little flavor and substance. 4/10, barely worth eating.
Dried Out Cicada - this is the stage where the cicada has been baked dry in the Texas sun for at least a day. This stage of cicada is good in that it is meatier, whilst still retaining the good crunchiness that one looks for in a nice snack. 7/10, I enjoy these quite a bit.
Half Alive Cicada - this is the stage where the cicada is on the ground, often skittering around on its back under the streetlights, or sometimes just sitting on the ground and making the buzzing noise. This stage of cicada offers many delights, including a nice gooey center and of course the buzzing that rattles around your skull while you chew it. 9/10, I like these so much I will try to pull the Poopervisor across the street if I spy one on the other side of the street.
Fully Alive Cicada - this is the most rare type of cicada to encounter as they are often up in trees, but every once in a while you come across one flying around or hanging out on a low branch. This stage of cicada is the absolute best because they will try to fly away but they're so fat they fly real low and you get to chase them and leap through the air to try to catch them with your chompers. So gratifying to pluck one of these bad boys out of the sky and munch them down, incomparable really. Additionally, the flavor, texture, and wriggliness at this stage are just sublime, no other sidewalk snacks even come close. 10/10, I will eat these on walkies even if I've snubbed the breakfast the Poopervisor offers before walkies.
So as you can see, ther

Hi photoclass, time for a new weekend assignment.
This week, it's all about the sunny f/16 rule.
What is it?
The rule is that, on a sunny day, with an aperture of F/16, the correct exposure for the sky is 1/ your ISO speed. So, when you set your ISO to 100, the shutterspeed should be 1/100. If you want to use 1/200, set the ISO to 200 or change the aperture to f/11 and so forth.
Mission:
First find a nice sunlit subject where you have a large part of the sky visible (but not the sun) as a background. This can be a portrait, landscape, what ever you like it works as long as the sun is lighting the subject.
Now set your camera to M (manual mode) and change the aperture to f/16, set your iso to 100, set the shutterspeed to 1/100 and make the photo. you should now have a nice blue sky. like here
first: ISO200, f/16, 1/200
second: ISO100, f/16, 1/80
Now turn on the popup flash to fill in the shadows
This is the way people used to calculate what settings to use before there where light meters and I find it a really good way to get an idea on what the results would be before even taking out my camera :-)
Really old cameras would have a table with settings and situations to use them for.

as always, share your results and critique your peers, have fun.
