I bought those packs in all of gacha games that I play except for Arknights since I already have the character included. Those packs are what broke my f2p streak. If they're going to add a similar pack with a different character I might spend more. The gacha system is going to be pointless though if they're going to sell characters like that so it's probably not going to happen. I probably got enticed because of the relatively cheap price and the characters included are pretty good, and so I took the bait.
I think it is generally worth it if you really want the character and you need the character now because you'll probably just get it later on in your pulls.

I love how the host calls this a solution to staffing shortage. Yes getting dumb, naive people to believe that you can better their lives by making them work for you for free for months unpaid. All these restaurants should do this right?
