A list of puns related to "Strip aerial photography"
Hypothetical situation:
I am a private pilot.
A friend of mine works for a company that does construction, and is a photographer.
The company wants some aerial shots of their site.
I think it would be a cool idea to fly my friend over the site so they can take pictures.
My friend gets compensated by their employer for the pictures, and the company uses the pictures commercially in ads etc.
I do not get compensated.
What does the legality look like here? Am I operating commercially? I would assume the answer is no, since I am not compensated. However, photos taken from my flight are used commercially. Any complications here?
Thanks all!
Hi All
Looking for a ready to fly, all included kit for something that is first person view (or at least does photography), and flies high and far.
It is a gift for my Godson.
Any help appreciated. I know it's a broad ask. Looking to avoid piecing together a machine.
Hey guys, my wife and I are seriously considering moving onto our boat and full time cruising while working. She is a nurse and could easily do the travel nurse thing but I'm a land surveyor and don't have that luxury. I do however work with drones and was thinking I might be able to find a little work doing aerial photography and videography of people out sailing. If you saw a sign for this at your marina, would you be interested in paying for drone pictures/videos of you out sailing? I'd just like to see if this is something people would be interested in. Thanks!
I'm a helicopter pilot and regularly experience some pretty amazing views while on the job. While I've gotten some great shots on my Samsung note 20 ultra, but it just can't capture much else besides wide angle, portrait and sweeping landscape type photos. The majority of my flights are between 0-2000 feet elevation (not very high at all) and tend to have a lot of dynamic sunrise/sunset lighting or light breaking through cloud layers or mountain ranges. Another common fail occurs when I try to get photos of my teammates aircraft while flying in formation 10-100m away against sky or landscape.
Things I assume ( perhaps incorrectly ) I need:
Decent Zoom Manual focus Analog controls (speedier adjustments? Flight gloves and touch screens don't play well either) Decent low light (we fly at night a lot) Weather sealing is a plus Not needing to swap lenses in the cockpit The smaller the better, theres not much room in here either so only as large as necessary for function.
Of course this would double as a hiking/travel camera in its off time so we'll rounded is a plus!
The x100v caught my eye with its form factor, controls and weather sealing but it was also just about the first thing I saw when I started looking
Any advice is appreciated!
