Why are items that put you in complete stasis where you can't do anything and nothing can happen to you good items? These seem useless. The best thing I could see happening is that someone comes to help you in 2 seconds but when is that even going to happen? I hear these items are good so what is up?

Am i the only one not enjoying watching games where every single person has stopwatch or stopwatch related item at some point? I get it its a very valuable item but when i see mf building zhonyas with half of the team having guardian angels i just think that thereβs something wrong here
Stopwatch this worlds has been a really dominant item seeing junglers like Canyon buying it after first or second item and using when it's crucial or completing ga and buying another one, also the zhonya's stopwatch combo, this item is a must and I think the main reason for it is because it has no downside when buying it.Let me explain better what I mean Stopwatch costs 650g which around mid game is a pretty easy to afford item even roles like jungle who don't get that much gold at that time can easily buy, it also doesn't have any other item at that price point meaning if you go back with 650g-750g it's the best choice. Now let's say you up the price to 800g then you have to really choose do I buy an item that gives me a really strong active and if I do that then what I don't buy an oblivion or a chain vest if you have 850g you can't buy executioner's or a blasting wand. I think that's a real trade off for such a strong active. It's an item that gives outplay potential and I think it's fine beeing in the game if it's balanced accordingly.
Broken Stopwatch Augment: 5 seconds into combat, all enemies and non-Clockwork units are frozen in time for 4 seconds.
If Urgot already casted his ability before the freeze, he actually ignores this effect and continues to shoot away, damaging his targets. Normally the freeze effect on everyone else completely stops them from doing anything.
Is this intended or is this a bug? It's a very specific interaction but for consistency reasons he really should not be shooting away when he's supposed to be frozen like everyone else. If you are the Broken Stopwatch user against an enemy Urgot, this can actually be detrimental as Urgot still wails away risk-free, potentially swinging the fight against you. Alternatively if you are using Urgot alongside this augment, you basically are getting another unit that can ignore the effect which can lead to cases of "OP-ness".

3 Star Jhin with broken stopwatch augment
Okay I didn't really take a video when I had a 2 star Jhin but you don't even need 3 star for this to work, broken stopwatch augment is legitimately broken on the jhin comp and it's actually so strong. Sorry it's filmed on an iphone as I couldn't really had the proper set up and be prepared to record this play. Context: still climbing, was one of my placement games, so this is a ranked game and it's yeah probably the strongest board I've played this set and I've played like 30+ games! Always take broken stopwatch if ur playing Jhin comp TLDR!
That thing is so annoying and not fun, even in pro play it makes most entertaining moves completely miss for a relatively cheap price.
Why can't the stopwatch stasis at least last for 1s instead of 2? The whole concept of it is to help squishy mages to survive a little longer and get their long CD off since their AA do nothing, while stopwatch is being used by anyone, even with no interest to finish the item
I need a straightforward app that I can use to track how much time I am spending on individual tasks: managing my inbox, writing a paper, attending meetings, etc. Something where I can press βstartβ on an activity when I start it and βstopβ when I pause, and it will add up the time Iβm spending in each area of my life. I tried Harvest, and I liked the stats functions but found its pre-set categories stifling and not relevant to me. Has anyone had luck with something similar but more customizable/less βbilling hoursβ oriented?
I use forest as a way to track the time I spend on certain activities (habit tracking etc). If youβre using stopwatch mode, if you donβt reach the 10 minute mark before ending the session your tree withers.
Why am I being forced to reach some arbitrary 10 minute mark? Why does the app have the authority to tell me βyouβre focusing for 10 minutesβ by threatening me with a withered tree?
I really almost considered writing, βeven if 10 minutes of focus is technically betterβ in the paragraph before. The reality is it doesnβt matter what I actually do during that time period. The app should be accomodating enough to not force me into longer sessions when I literally do not have the time for it.
I understand itβs just an app, and in fairness the app will still count your time spent on the tag. I think one of the main issues is that momentum is a big part of building good habits. When you have 20 trees in a row you donβt want to break the streak. Being forced into intentionally withering trees doesnβt reinforce this. A better mechanic (for stopwatch use at least) would be to just have a question at the end of each session: βDid you accomplish your intention?β If you did, then you get a baby tree if itβs under 10 minutes. Over 10 and itβs back to how it currently is. If you say no then it withers. Easy as.
I donβt understand whatβs going on here. It seems like no matter what I do, I get hit by the stopwatch.
Every Ultrak watch seems to have this function and I have yet to meet a single coach that knows how to use it. I have a video of it on my phone but idk how to upload it here. If there is an easy way to upload, I will post a video.
I have a few chronograph watches (Breitling, IWC and Seiko). I have a soft spot for admiring the smaller dials within a watch, the seconds, minutes, and hours (mini dials). I just think the craftsmanship involved in creating that is amazing. For me, it is so cool!
My question is, do you run your stopwatch all the time? I do but reset it once or a few times a day. What do you do? Just curious.
